Live mix, 100% vinyl. Music played in Goa during the years 1986-1992 before the advent of Goa trance genre. This is EBM, Industrial, Synth Pop, New Beat, Acid, Euro techno, Euro house, etc.
I've never been to Goa and I'm too young to have witnessed this era. Selection is based purely on third hand information and speculation.
All tracks here have been released on vinyl. Goa DJs would have played their own edits and remixes of these tracks along with unreleased material.
This beat matching DJing style is not the one utilized in Goa back in the days. Vinyl was not a practical format in the hot jungle conditions. Compact Cassette and later DAT tapes were used instead with no beat matching ability.
