*Diamonds For Hearts selected as Solarstone's Big Tune of the week*
*Markus Schulz: Big new one from one of the emerging talents from past few years.*
*Solarstone: Talking of people being on fire, I think Diamonds For Hearts is an absolutely amazing record.*
*Mike Koglin: Massive! Tempo Giusto is the king of triplet-riffs.*
*Max Graham: Love these!*
*Airbase: Nice work!*
*Supported by Giuseppi Ottaviani, Sied van Riel, TyDi, Ima'gin, Mark Pledger, Dale Corderoy, Mark Sherry, Amex, Kaeno etc.*
After the hard-banging tech tune "Dodger", the Turku based artist Tempo Giusto presents his new moniker ToneArts in the EP Velvet Kiss / Diamonds For Hearts which follows a more melodic suite. The two tracks are both rich in themes and harmonies but differ a lot in atmosphere. Velvet Kiss has a joyous and light feel with a speedy progressive beat. An upbeat guitar accompanies a gliding lead which takes the main role after the break. Diamonds For Hearts as the b-side track has a slightly more sombre and nocturnal feel with the murmur of the deep bass line, the rippling arpeggios, and the smoky female vocal. The tranquil piano passage in the middle builds up intensity for the 2nd part in which a more ecstatic feeling is unleashed through a bass variation.
