If ever there was a way to make a big entrance to a scene and a lasting impression it would be that of Shifted's. Shifted emerged into the scene in January this year with a massive and much-praised debut EP on Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver label weaving together industrial and dubby elements that beautifully morph into his own, hard-hitting and stripped down techno sound. Shifted has only released four EPs so far (two on Mote-Evolver, one on his own Avian imprint and one on Syndrome Z) and a couple of remixes but continues to prove he is more than just a one-off. His productions are clean without sounding stale or sterile and the echoed spaces between the kickdrums create overwhelming soundscapes that have been proven to work any dancefloor. Needless to say, we are very excited about getting Shifted in Kuudes Linja, Helsinki to showcase his talent to our local audience who never fail to recognize talent when they see or hear it.
