Gr is a basshead originating from Kuopio and nowdays settled in
Tampere. In Tampere Gr aka Timppa is hosting a drum and bass club
called Litku which is mainly focusing in melodic and liquid side of
the DNB. Litku is collaboration between Gr, Elysion, Nocomply &
T.H.U.G
- group of friends originally gathered around electronic music
society called Spinni.
When playing out Gr is still mainly trusting in good old vinyl and is
very passionate about everything related to drum'n'bass music.
Prepare to hear a lot of different vibes and nyances through the
whole field of DNB when Gr is on the decks.
Elysion got sucked into the world of electronic music at his early
teens by such artists as The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim
and Apollo 440. He started DJing and promoting events at the break of
the millennia in Lahti with MK-Ultra (http://auralcandy.net), his
partner in crime at that time. After moving to Tampere elysion joined
the local EDM collective Spinni and continued from where he left of in
Lahti.
During his career elysion has hosted two radio shows, Northern
Hemispere on DigitalVibes and the ongoing Concussion Show
(http://concussioncrew.info/radio) on NuBreaks.com. elysion has
starred in numerous event line ups throughout southern Finland and his
sets have been featured on podcasts such as the Kongkast
(http://kongkretebass.com) in Hong Kong. Currently elysion also holds
the residency at Concussion and Litku club nights in Tampere.
The main characteristic of elysion's DJing is the huge amount of
energy he pushes into his sets with sharp mixes, high-octane
performance and diverse track selection of premium D&B tracks. He
focuses only on the essential - ensuring the dance floor is packed and
jumping!
