Rohan started Bassbin in 96 as an outlet for gigs for himself and Naphta. Visitors to the night have included, Photek, Goldie, Bailey, Ed Rush, Optical, Doc Scott, Flight, 4-Hero, Zinc, Trace, Fierce, Breakage, Flight, Digital, Calibre, Marcus Intalex as well as encouraging and pushing local artists such as Beta 2, Zero Tolerance and a whole host of local djs.
Rohan has also played at Movement, Traffic, Technicality, Valve Sound System, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Homelands, Edinburgh, Manchester, Switzerland, Hungary in the last year. In 2002 and 2004 Rohan toured America with dates in San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, North Carolina and New York.
The main focus over the last few years has been Bassbin Recordings. The label has been going from strength to strength and the 25th release across the three labels has just been unleashed. With artists such as Breakage, Calibre, Digital, Paradox, Seba, Beta 2, Zero T, Fracture and Neptune, Equinox and Fanu all involved, the label is hitting the right spots in the current dnb market.
Main players in the scene have been championing the sounds from LTJ Bukem, Hype, Zinc, Total Science, Marcus Intalex, Bailey, Doc Scott, Fabio, Goldie, Bryan G, Dillinja, Goldie, Lemon D, Hype, Flight, Calibre, Friction, Digital etc .
