If any proof were needed that hard dance has become a truly international phenomenon it is the success of Japanese DJ/producer, Yoji Biomehanika. Yoji has achieved rock star status in his own country with his inimitable brand of music and presence on stage. Yoji has grown into such an icon that Japanese clubbers can now even buy a Yoji Biomehanika watch especially made by Seiko.

The winner of Best DJ award at the 2003 Hard Dance awards, ranking in the top 100 UK DJ magazine chart, gaining a top 20 spot in the Dutch top 100 DJ’s, and reaching phenomenal success in other European countries has made Yoji one of the most sought after DJs in the world. Crowds across the world that have heard and seen Yoji Biomehanika have been stunned by his unique and always powerful track selection, along with his faultless and charismatic mixing ability, his style and technique is a cut above the rest. His musical taste is fresh and uninhibited, making him a leader not a follower. His animated performance and flamboyant image contributes to Yoji’s unique DJ persona.

As a producer, Yoji has been a major artist in the hard dance scene. From chart topping and highly sought after mix compilation CD and DVD albums in Japan to international releases of his productions, Yoji has become one of the best selling hard dance artists in the world. Yoji has also mixed 2 compilations for Europe’s dance festival dominators Dance Valley, as well as his very successful 2003 double CD release on TIDY.
