Suvilahti Electronic is proud to present GARDENS OF GOD (LT, Afterlife, Ellum) this Saturday on Heineken stage, where Valeria Croft and Mihut will play local support. At Merikerho, TEKNOPICNIC takes over Merikerho Deck with Kristik, Individual, Pekko Haimi, and Tuomo Tapani.
On Friday, Heineken Stage is proofed by MY TECHNO WEIGHS A TON with Mora, Severi Laine, Sharkki and Reginald. At Merikerho it is a night with FRIENDSHIP & DECADENCE label artists Soufer, Roope and Poly Sone.
Lithuanian based Gardens of God has established himself as a key player in the world of house and techno. Starting out in film, he has been creating film scores and background music for over a decade. After a groundbreaking few years of vital releases on Afterlife, Maceo Plex’s Ellum and his own Sodai Records, the classically trained artist continues to deliver surprises.
He was selected as BBC Radio One’s artist to head the Future 12 mix series with 5 DJ mixes appearing on Friday nights over as many weeks. Big radio support from the best in a game like Pete Tong, B. Traits or John Digweed also made an impact in artists career. Like his mixes, the production also delivers a mature, exciting and accomplished sound. Weaving somewhere between house, techno and electronica, it’s hard to place Gardens Of God in any one specific genre, except one of marked ‘musical’.
Gardens of God has touched down at events and clubs such as Fabric, Pacha Ibiza, D-Edge, Baum, BPM, Fusion Festival and DGTL festival - this Saturday at Suvilahti Electronic.
Suvilahti Electronic is not a festival. It is a thematic weekend with electronic music at two restaurants, Merikerho and Leblon, produced in collaboration with My Techno Weighs A Ton, Teknopicnic, Friendship & Decadence. Leblon now has a tent rain cover for 290 participants, defined by AVI as an outdoor area. We follow all corona restrictions. Dancing is allowed!
