HARVEST is a gathering of people to enjoy the best the season has to offer. In August summer is at it's best, and fresh produce arrives from gardens, forests and music studios. Merikerho and Leblon present a fine selection of drum'n'bass, jungle, breakbeat and hip hop with the power and creativity of 26 djs. At Leblon Harvest presents Ruff Cut and Hoodwatch djs. At Merikerho, selected by clubs Standard and The Circuit, line-up includes djs Muffler, Askel & Elere, D-Bex, Djane Crystal, Noisewave, Mizfire, Sheidow, Jayem, OG Otter, Wispy, Axu and many more!
HARVEST is also a late summer event where we serve some seasonal food: porcini mushroom risotto from Purtava, and drinks with Apple and cranberry.
Provided that the venues are not too full and you have a ticket, you can use a connecting corridor from the front of the ship to visit Leblon. You can carry your drink with you, but only by staying within the limits of the corridor.
Friday's programme is curated as a collaboration between Standard and Merikerho.
Askel & Elere (Hospital / Soulvent / Delta9) are undoubtedly the freshest drum and bass to emerge over the last years from Finland. Juho Kavasto aka Askel and Sainey Gibba aka Elere are making waves in the liquid scene, quietly amassing releases on well respected labels with some seriously sublime sonics. Their love of fast breakbeats and rumbling basses have resulted in some memorable music that draws inspiration from classic 90’s drum & bass as well as genres outside the scope of electronic music.
Producing and releasing as a duo as well as individually, the versatility of Askel & Elere’s talents have seen them net releases on labels like Hospital, Soulvent, Delta9 and Fokuz. They have been given airtime on BBC Radio 1, Noisia Radio and Rinse FM and enjoyed support from acts such as London Elektricity, DJ Marky, Pola & Bryson, Grafix, Physics, Zero T, Random Movement and more.
After thirteen years and over ninety releases, Med School stacked the chairs and closed its doors. As a final farewell to the label, the ‘Med School: Graduation’ compilation celebrates the life of Hospital Records’ once sister label, as well as the musicians and culture that defined it. This compilation includes a track ”Last Days” by Askel, Elere & Trisector.

gloves to serve you fresh drinks.
