Basso Clubin kansainvälinen artistikattaus saa jatkoa, kun Hollantilainen Jay Hardway keikkailee ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa lauantaina 14.12. Early Bird -ja ennakkoliput tulevat myyntiin Tikettiin.
Jay Hardway on edelleen elektronisen tanssimusiikin mielenkiintoisempia ja rakastettuja nimiä, valtavan tuotannon kasvaessa nopeasti globaalin kiertueohjelman rinnalla. Etelä-Hollannin Drunenista kotoisin oleva DJ aloitti tuottamisen ja keikkailun 14-vuotiaana saatuaan vaikutteita tuon ajan isoilta tuottajilta. Nykyään Amsterdamissa vaikuttava tuottaja on musiikillinen voima, jonka biiseillä on miljoonia toistoja.
Jayn ensimmäinen julkaisu ”Registration Code”, yhdessä silloin vielä tuntemattoman Martin Garrixin kanssa aloitti menestyksekkään ja kestävän yhteistyön duon välille, joka jatkuu vielä tänäkin päivänä. Heidän seuraava yhteiskappaleensa ”Wizard” julkaistiin Spinnin’ Recordsilla ja saavutti pian 1. sijan Beatportissa, sekä sai 3,6 miljoonaa näyttökertaa YouTubessa ensimmäisen viikon aikana. Duon viimeisin hitti ”Spotless” on saavuttanut jo yli 40 miljoonaa näyttökertaa YouTubessa.
Muut yhteistyöt skenen huippujen kuten Firebeatz, Bassjackers, Mesto and Mike Cervello kanssa ovat luoneet tanssihittejä, kuten myös remixit Armin Van Buurenille, Borgeous:lle ja Sam Feldt:lle. Näiden onnistuneiden yhteistöiden lisäksi Jay tunnetaan soolotuotannostaan, jossa hän näyttää meille rakkautensa kauniisiin melodioihin.
Biiseillä kuten Bootcamp, Electric Elephants, Somnia, Golden Pineapple and Coffee Please hän vie meidät matkalle täydellisillä ja monipuolisilla soundeilla. Huippuluokan tuotantojen lisäksi hän on laajentanut täyteläisempiin soundeihin biiseillään, kuten trance-vaikutteinen Somnia. Viimeisimpänä hän on yhdistänyt melodista laulua biiseihinsä kuten ”Need It” ja ”Wired”. Jay etsii aina jotain uutta ja mielenkiintoista musiikin lisäksi myös musiikkivideoilleen. Japanissa kuvattu ”Electric Elephants” -video sai yli kuusi miljoonaa näyttökertaa ja biisin ”Golden Pineapple” musavideo tähän mennessä yli seitsemän miljoonaa näyttökertaa.
Vuonna 2018 hän oli legendaarisen DJ Magin Top 100 DJ äänestyksessä 64. , sekä keikkaili maailman isoimmilla klubeilla ja festivaaleilla, kuten Tomorrowland, EDC New York, Hakkasan Las Vegas, MTV Mobile Beats, Sziget, WiSH Outdoor, Creamfields Brasil, Electric Love, Pacha NYC, AMF ja Mysteryland.

Jay Hardway continues to be one of the dance scene’s most exciting and well-loved names, with a formidable discography rapidly building up alongside a burgeoning global tour schedule. Hailing from Drunen in the South of the Netherlands, he began producing and DJing at the age of 14, influenced by the big producers of those early days. Now located in Amsterdam, he is a serious musical force with many millions of plays and sales to his name.
Jay’s very first release came in the form of a collaboration with then-unknown teenager Martin Garrix, the free download Registration Code. It marked the beginning of a successful and enduring working relationship between the duo that continues on to this day. Their next collaboration Wizard was released on Spinnin’ and quickly reached the #1 spot on Beatport and picked up 3.6 million views on YouTube in its first week. The duo released the smash Spotless in 2016, which has had over 40 million views on YouTube and still counting.
Further collabs with fellow scene greats like Firebeatz, Bassjackers, Mesto and Mike Cervello have provided yet more dancefloor gold, as have his remixes of Armin Van Buuren, Bourgeous and Sam Feldt.
Aside from these successful collaborations, Jay is also well known for his solo endeavours in which he can show us his love for beautiful melodies the most.
With the likes of Bootcamp, Electric Elephants, Somnia, Golden Pineapple and Coffee Please he takes us on a journey with his complete and diverse spectrum of sounds. While best known for his high-end production, he has branched out into more mellow sounds on tracks like the stunning trance-influenced chugger Somnia. Most recently he has incorporated melodic vocals to his track such as Need It and Wired. Jay is always on the lookout for something new and exciting not only with his music but also with the videos that come along with his tracks, like the Electric Elephants video which was shot in Japan and collected over 6 million views or the video for Golden Pineapple which features a sad Pineapple and collected over 7 million views so far.
2018 Seeing him climbing the legendary DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll to #64. He graced the stages of the world’s biggest clubs and festivals such as Tomorrowland, EDC New York, Hakkasan Las Vegas, MTV Mobile Beats, Sziget, WiSH Outdoor, Creamfields Brasil, Electric Love, Pacha NYC, AMF and Mysteryland to name a few.
