John 00 Fleming
JOOF Recordings

isojhoni.jpg

Boasting regular appearances at Godskitchen and The Gallery, John 00 Fleming has long been injecting his blend of hard-edged progressive trance into the UK’s top clubs, including Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Euphoria, Promise, Slinky, Passion and Inside-out among many others. With a career spanning nearly twenty years, his unique character and impeccable talent have seen Fleming become the face of his genre, producing numerous mix albums, artist singles, remix projects and heading his own underground label; Joof Recordings.

John’s career started some 18 years ago when his headmaster asked that he play an under 18s night for the school. After just one appearance, John was asked to become a resident at the now legendary Sterns in his hometown of Worthing. He was aged just 15. Fleming honoured his residency throughout the 80s and during this period, shared the decks with some of dance-music’s most treasured DJs, including Carl Cox, Fabio and Grooverider at the club’s ‘Interdance’ night. As acid house and the rave scene reached new heights, John stepped forward as one of the leaders of the movement, DJing at Fantazia, Raindance and Ibiza as far back as 1987.

Complementing his assured reputation as a DJ, John has displayed a great flair for production. The massive success of two artist singles; ‘Alpha 5’ and ‘Lost In Emotion’, were accompanied by a third release in 2000 with ‘Free’, which enjoyed an entry in the UK Top 40. In 2002, John continued to develop his production work with the release of ‘Belfast Trance’. The next step for Fleming was Joof Recordings; an underground trance label set up with Russel Coultart (Floorplay) in 1999.

More recently John had massive success with the excellent ‘Progressive Euphoria’ (Telstar) that sold a staggering 70,000 copies within the first two weeks of release and his ‘White Label Euphoria’ compilation which has since become the second biggest selling album in the Euphoria series. In 2001 his remix of Konkrete’s ‘Law Unto Myself’ on Perfecto was supported by Dave Pearce, Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk and his most recent remix of the international club classic ‘Café Del Mar’ reached No.24 in the UK singles chart!!

John 00 Fleming has become one of the front-runners in the worldwide club scene. 2003 brings a new level of demand for one of few DJs capable of filling clubs on a global level. From the studio, February 2003 welcomes ‘White Label Euphoria 2’ on Telstar, a John 00 Fleming single ‘I’m Not Fooled’ and numerous planned releases for Joof Recordings. His recent position at No 36 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 chart proves greater success for one of the most talented and diligent DJs in dance music.

Lady Dana:

ID&T, Holland

isodana.jpg

The Queen of Hardstyle !
The diva is still on the move! As the first female hardcore DJ in Holland she is respected in the house-scene for many, many years.

With her superb and energizing skills she knows how to create a party. These days she is one of the leading figures in the so-called Hardstyle scene of Holland. This originated from the need to ad more creativity and innovation to her oldstyle sets and has turned out to a love for a new style of music;
a mixture of Italian Hardbass TeKno and a big influence of the deep and pounding German hardstyle sounds.

One of her many motivations to keep on going is her love for the interaction with the public and her vinyl-addiction. “I can’t imagine a life without music and playing records!” Apart from her experience on almost every big hardcore and oldstyle venue of the past she is now playing on parties like Qlimax, Mysteryland, Shockers and Sensation the Black Edition.

Every last Wednesday of the month she is even presenting her own radio show at ID&T radio in which she introduces the listeners to the hard sounds of today. She has proven to be of an inestimable value for the Hardstyle scene as the Queen of Hardstyle.
Lady Dana, loud as hell !!!

Gen.6:

Creon records Sweden

gen6.jpg

gen.6 (Creon records Sweden) aka Paulina Cewe is a dj and producer focused on psychedelic tech-trance and progressive trance.

She knows how to tame the psychedelic sounds and make them follow her every command. From Docklands in Stockholm, Sweden to the Dinamo in Tel Aviv, Israel - gen.6 has established her own style by blending minimal, freaky and progressive trance since '99.

Introduced fairly late into the techno-trance scene, gen.6 soon found a personal forum in a new dimension. By combining creativity with knowledge about the fundamental structures of music - a door was opened to a new way of perceiving and arranging sounds. This was the beginning of a great exploration of the trance-phenomena which eventually also led to her DJing.

The continous search for an interaction with the crowd, and a constant connection with the trance community, enables gen.6 to entwine the different changes and flows both on the dancefloor and on the trance-scene as a whole. Her appetite for beat and rhythm is fueled by the fascinating and ever evolving sound of trance.

“ ..by blending chaos and order she takes the crowd on a wild journey into the darker and progressive side of trance.. ”

Psilodump:

Sound of Habib, Sweden

psilodump.jpg

Psilodump has been delivering the unexpecting party people his sonic weirdness since 1991 when he begun to produce electronic music of his own.

Using numerous different pseudonymes, he produces almost every possible kind of music ranging from electro and IDM to breakbeats and playful percussive techno at a pace of around 100 tracks a year. Being open to practically every kind of music and not limiting himself to any specific formula, his adventures outside the electronic music scene have led him to producing
Jazz and even as far as remixing a commercial boyband!

Psilodump begun performing live at various events year 1996. Apart from playing in his native Sweden (events ranging from small underground venues to the Pluto-stage at Arvikafestivalen, one of the biggest festivals of the Swedish summer) his performances have also been witnessed in countries such as Holland, Switzerland and UK.

Finland, the land of thousand lakes, is definitely no mystery for him either, this time he's once again coming back to feed the twisted Finnish mentality with some full-on party techno.

Cari Lekebusch

Drumcode, Lekebuschmusic (Sweden)

leke.jpg

Capricorn born 1972, homebase stockholm sweden. Performing: vinyl dj sets, audio production, music recording & grafix artist.

Started off collecting music from the late 70´s and early 80´s. Early 80´s was filled with breakdancing
and spray painting where ever possible in the stockholm area. Early musical influences are no doubt coming from nyc and la; - "remember grandmaster flash, dj red alert, afrikan bambaata and the soul sonic force", - and how about ice-t in reckless (including a slamming 808 beats and an exellent 303 bassline). Later in the 80´s mantronix came out of nyc with sound architectures never heard before... ultramagnetic mc´s, whoodini, it just goes on. All this got cari into buying his first music recording gear - no doubt.

After learning some techniques from an old class mate, cari built his own recording studio in the late 80´s. Since then releases have been made on drumcode and code red, corb, proper nyc, harthouse, ffrr, jakpot, loop and plumphouse records, missile, jericho, influence, primevil, svek, planet rhythm, experimental nyc, ohm records/telegram, analog usa. own label projects include; djupt, grundtakt, trainspotters nightmare, audio mekanixc, audio pollution, kgb, direkt, spirit fuel, toghether with hybrid productions as the main platform.
......so far so good.

juju.jpg
