ANGERFIST (NL)
Upholding a musical legacy that’s sustained itself for over one decade, notorious ‘man in the mask’ Angerfist is, without a doubt, the supreme pioneer in Hardcore music.
Dropping hit after hit, this trailblazer has created numerous famed anthems that have sustained their eminence through an ever-changing industry. Boasting an extensive discography that contains five stellar albums, Angerfist has deservingly taken out the highest ranking for Hard Dance artists for three consecutive years. And he is currently ranked #40 in the DJMag Top 100 list.
Shaking down the sturdiest of venues with ferocious Hardcore beats, Angerfist’s performances are packed with dynamism, strength and an extraordinary atmosphere that leaves visitors shattered to the bone.
For over 15 years D-Block & S-te-Fan has been a game changing duo in Harddance history. Currently operating stronger than ever whilst reviving their love for the harder styles, they are yet again on top of the scene.
After creating landmarks in Hardstyle with albums like "Music made addictz" and "Rockin your mind", they rediscovered their love and passion for the harder styles in 2017 with the hit release of the album "Antidote". Since then on every song has been getting better and better, and by the sound of Angels & Demons, Twilight Zone and Ghost Stories they found a unique way to combine Melodies with Energy.
With their celebration of 15 years of Hardstyle and their new formed live act Ghost Stories there is a lot more in store for many years to come!
Producer/DJ/Label Owner Lenny Dee is one of NYC’s earliest techno and house pioneers. He produced classic UK chart-hitting techno with Frankie Bones (as Looney Tunes), Victor Simonelli (for Nu Groove and Def Mix) and Tommy Musto – including their ‘Fallout’ track–heard on the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas & on Defected Records
Early on, Lenny worked at Skyline Studios (at the time home of Nile Rodgers), and at Arthur Baker’s Shakedown Studio’s on productions for New order, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Al Jarreau KLF among others. He then attacked Europe with the then new sound of Techno and in 1991 launched Industrial Strength Records – the first electronic ‘Hardcore’ label in the world that’s included music from Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Manu Le Malin, Angerfist, Corrosion of Conformity, Daft Punk, Neophyte, Unexist, DOA, The Sickest Squad, Nasenbluten and many more.
Lenny has also produced hundreds of tracks on labels such as 4th floor, Warner Bros, Strictly Rhythm, R&S, Atlantic Records, Arista, XL Recordings, Gigilo, Rotterdam Records, ID&T, Hydraulix & Stay Up Forever. He has worked with the likes of Casper Pound, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Mike Humphries, Wu-Tang Clan, Brand Nubian John Selway, The Horrorist, DJ Moella, Chris Liberator, Joey Bertram, KLF, Sven Vath, Shiny Toy Guns, Robert Owens, Marshall Jefferson w/ Gareth Whitehead among others.
Lenny’s first residency was at the roller disco Roll-A-Palace in Brooklyn NY at the age of 17 and he has DJed all over the world at most of the biggest parties including EDC (Vegas), Tomorrowland, MayDay, Love Parade, Woodstock, Thunderdome, Paris Techno Parade, the Jane's Addiction Reunion tour & the list goes on.
He recently launched a new label ‘Hard Electronic’ that covers the spectrum that is Techno and also oversees hundreds of Sample packs on his sound design company ‘Industrial Strength Samples’ exclusive to the number one website for samples Loopmasters.
It’s no wonder Lenny was the 1st Hardcore DJ to appear on the ‘DJ Mag - Top 100’ and was previously named Number 1 ‘Hard DJ’ by Mixmag, twice awarded the accolade of Best Worldwide Techno DJ by the Scottish Dance Music Awards & Frontpage Magazine and even has a track listed on the Top 40 Deep House Tracks of all Time (Spin Magazine).
Earth-shattering kicks, industrial vibrations and an unrivalled vision that endlessly transports listeners into a state of awe are just a few things that comprise boundary-breaking producer Delete. Distinguished as one of Australia’s most prized exports, Ryan Biggs made his move to The Netherlands in 2013 and since then he’s experienced a soaring career filled with milestone bookings, chart-topping releases and an ever-growing fan-base devoted to his legacy.
With his earlier hits such as “Formula” and “Syndrome” representing the underground, by the time 2014 rolled around and “Ghetto,” “Dismissed” and “Level” were released, Delete was hurled into Hardstyle’s stratosphere. Following up his immense success in 2014, Ryan went on to unleash several bomb-like productions including “Just Do It,” “Funk,” “The Truth” alongside Warface and most recently “Dismissed Again.” Boasting a unique signature sound that pushes the confines of conventional raw Hardstyle, Delete’s productions can best be described as rough and hard, yet sophisticated and inventive.
Proving himself as a force to be reckoned with, Delete’s original approach to the genre was celebrated amongst the scene, gaining him spots on line-ups for elite events such as Defqon.1, Q-BASE, Dominator, Masters of Hardcore, Hard Bass and Supremacy, where he unveiled his critically acclaimed Delete VIP project. Delete has also infected crowds worldwide during his performances abroad in Italy, Switzerland, France, Australia, United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Norway, Germany and Spain.
So, what’s next for this Aussie sensation? Aside from recently signing to End Of Line Recordings, Delete is busy in the lab cooking up some new experiments to tantalise your eardrums and is ready to destroy every venue in sight!
Raw emotion, invigorating energy, unique musical storylines and timelessly impeccable, high quality productions are a precise
sum up of what the next generation pioneer Phuture Noize bring to the vast world of Hardstyle. With the music unaffected, the best is yet to come as many fresh, new creations are on their way and ready to tear apart crowds worldwide! Phuture Noize is on its way to becoming one of tomorrow’s pioneers.
Powerful and melancholic atmospheres, hard hitting kicks, technical prowess and originality. That is the sound Sledgehammers.
Back around 2014, Digital Mindz (Oskar Hänninen) and Riiho (Atte Riihonen) began to pave their way to becoming household names in the rapidly growing rawstyle scene after releasing their earth shattering remix of the Nico & Tetta - Restart the Party. They were both quickly picked up by none other than the Dirty Workz Anarchy -label and continued to release massive hits such as the Resonant -series, Beastmode, Seven Sins, Destroy and Annihilation. This success flew them to play at events such as Defqon.1, Loudness, The Qontinent, Monday Bar Cruise and around Europe and Australia.
During their rise to fame, Tarec (Tomas Ihonen) -a close friend of the two, was studying audio production in a well respected Finnish school. Impressed by the speed at which he was learning and the quality at which he was already producing, Atte and Oskar both decided to to apply to the same school. With a burning passion for sound, music and stories, Tomas began building his career in the cinema & tv -sound post production industry, which would lead him to later build his own company and the studio in which Sledgehammers would be born.
After many years of being friends and working closely together, the trio decided to fly a shared banner and work together to create something greater. What the Finnish minds have under works is still shrouded in mist. All that can be said for sure is quote them:
