BOOM!! The Circuit returns back from it’s short break and does it in a greater way than it’s done ever before. On 1st September we’ll take over Botta main hall again and bring there a very special guest from the UK: THE PROTOTYPES!! Besides this massive bone crushing dance floor anthem shooter, we’ll make sure that our domestic support will finalize your experience. Now you can find a perfect way to end your summer and start your autumn of 2018!
The Prototypes came to prominence with the euphoric dancefloor track ‘Suffocate’ on Shogun Audio, receiving support from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Andy C, Roni Size, Friction, J Majik & Wickaman, Pendulum, and DJ Fresh.
2013 saw the duo sign an album deal with Futurebound’s Viper Recordings. The first single from the album ‘Pale Blue Dot’ held the No 1 spot on the Beatport dnb chart for over a month, with DJ support from Netsky, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Sigma, TC and more.
2014 has seen them go from strength to strength with ‘Just Bounce’ featured on Andy C’s ‘Nightlife 6’ album and the duo being signed to Primary Talent Agency, as well as a summer residency on BBC Xtra Talent. Proving to be one of the hottest acts in the UK Drum & Bass club scene, they achieved 3 out of the top 10 selling D&B tracks of 2014 with tracks with Abyss VIP, Pale Blue Dot and Humanoid.
2015 their debut album 'City of Gold' was released. The album features amazing vocals from the likes of Mad Hed City (Pop It Off), Ayak (Under), Ayah Marar (Kill The Silence), Laconic (Is It Love) and Amy Pearson (Don't Let It Go). But on the closing track 'Slip Away', Chris Garvey performs a moving vocal as a dedication to his mother.
The Prototypes have been travelling around the world on a ‘City Of Gold’ album tour which encompassed over 50 dates including them play NASS, Urban Art Forms and Tomorrowland festivals, along with a 13-city tour of North America.
It’s not hard to see why the future has never been brighter for one of the most exciting production outfits in recent years.
