Dyke Hard on vuoden 2014 alussa perustettu underground lesbo- ja queerklubi.
Klubi on kahden DJ:n yhteinen taideprojekti, jossa haetaan "hämyisen Berliinin underground lesboklubin" tunnelmaa musiikillisessa muodossa.
Elektro, rock, rap, dubstep, tekno, queercore, riot grrrl, punk ja industrial soivat koko illan aamuvalkeaan saakka. Ei armoa, vaan hikeä, tanssimista ja kovaa rakkautta!
Musiikista vastaavat DJ Witchpill, DJ Sanctuares ja vieraileva DJ, DJ D'LASSO.
DJ Witchpill on tuttu näky Helsingin queerklubien ja roller derby matsien DJ:nä nimellä DJ Selina Kyle. Witchpill soittaa klubimusiikkia queer-elementillä, mutta luomassaan Dyke Hard konseptissa pääsee revittelemään rankemman elektronisen musiikin parissa.

Vivahteikkuutta, tummia sävyjä, raskautta, kontrastia. DJ Sanctuaresin settejä inspiroivat niin taide kuin unet ja alitajuntakin. Intensiivistä tanssimusiikkia unohtamatta.

Vierailevana DJ:nä tällä kertaa klubin teemaakin inspiroinut DJ D’LASSO! Visiting DJ will be DJ D'LASSO who also inspired the theme London Underground!
”DJ D’LASSO, previously London-based techno artist returns to Dyke Hard with a new,fresh and harder sound tailor-made for Dyke Hard, mixed with blend of Hard Techno,Breakbeats,Psychtrance, Harddance and his techno-train will be arriving at Kaiku via London and Berlin to rock some old techno classics too.
D’LASSO has worked at major underground clubs in London like Trade, Ministry of Sound, Fabric,Barcode, Smarties Party,Fire and many more. He championed LGBT+ friendly DJs during his 8-year long residency at THIRST BAR SOHO (previously CANDY BAR)in London UK. He played alongside Jo Mills(DC-10,AMNESIA Ibiza),Natalie Coleman(Mooch),Kath Harding(WISH),Slamma(CANDY BAR) and LISA BRANDON BLOCK, LITTLE ANDY(Thirst Bar,68 & Boston)and NICK HOLLOWAY,Steve Thomas(TRADE),Fat Tony(ORANGE),Malcolm Duffy, (TRADE,FICTION).”
Dyke Hard is an underground lesbian and queer club that started in January 2014.
We focus on music. The club is an art project of two DJs where we're looking for an atmosphere of "shady underground lesbian club in Berlin" in musical form.
We're not afraid of playing rougher music. Electro, rock, rap, dubstep, techno, queercore, riot grrrl, punk and industrial play all night until the break of dawn. No mercy, just sweat, dancing and hard love!
Lesbian and queer ideologies are visible in the club's attitude and music choices, but still the club is open to everyone regardless of identity or gender. With this we want to support the diversity of gender. So come if you like what's going on - as long as you take your respect with you and let anyone be a dyke freely!
DJ Witchpill and DJ Sanctuares are the main DJs.
DJ Witchpill is a familiar sight as a DJ in Helsinki's queer clubs and roller derby matches by the name DJ Selina Kyle. Witchpill plays club music with a queer twist, but in Dyke Hard concept she created, she gets to experiment with rougher electronic music.

Dark tones, heaviness, contrast. DJ Sanctuares' sets are inspired by art as well as dreams and unconsciousness. Not to forget intensive dance music.
