Jonkinlainen ympyrä sulkeutuu myös, kun saamme viimein Fiktion bileisiin soittamaan Taival-duon alunperin Polvijärveltä kotoisen olevan Timo Vaittisen, jonka ensimmäinen, syksyllä 2013 julkaisema biisi on uskomattomalla tavalla nimeltänsä Fiktio.

Beginning of March starts out with the first Dimensio event of 2017 and starts out BIG! Fiktio brings you the hottest rising stars in the genre of trance: Taival and Symon&Jay.
Recently these highly talented Finnish producers have published songs in collaboration with each other and reached the radio lists of such legendary names as Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk. And now they're all coming to Joensuu!
TAIVAL (Always Alive Recordings, HKI)
Taival is a Finnish trance music duo made up of Timo Vaittinen and Miikka Pelkonen. Based in Helsinki and having recently settled in HelsinkiVibe Studios, they are all set to spread their love for electronic dance music.
Following their debut releases When Words End and collaborative EP When We Fall / Pacific with Driftmoon in 2015, Taival was invited to play in Colors Festival alongside with artists such as ATB and Chicane. Being noticed by Finnish trance club Hallmark, Taival continued to mesmerise crowds in various events around Finland.
The horizon does not look any worse for Timo and Miikka. In January 2016, the Finnish mainstream media showcased Taival as the "hope of the future", when Finnish Broadcasting Company's DJ Orion featured Taival in his nationwide radio show.
Taival's solo and collaborative productions have not gone unnoticed by the biggest names in the scene. Established artists such as Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Paul van Dyk, Super8 & Tab, Gareth Emery and Daniel Kandi have been supporting the duo's music throughout the years.
Having fresh productions and tour dates under their belt, one thing is for sure: Taival is here to stay.

SYMON & JAY (Always Alive Recordings, TRE)
Symon & Jay is a Finnish producer-duo consisting of longtime friends Sami Heikkilä and Jesse Leppänen. They both share the same burning passion, ideology and taste towards electronic dance music.
After years of successfully producing as individual artists in the renowned Finnish hard trance and freeform scene, their paths crossed on a more professional level in 2010 when they started working on music together.
Countless hours in the studio and honing their productions to perfection has started to pay off and their music has already been released on quality labels such as Always Alive Recordings, Redux Recordings, Entrancing Music and D.Max Recordings while also being supported by artists likes of Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul van Dyk, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Sean Tyas and Ben Gold.
Not all their time has been spent in the dark room perfecting beats, as the duo has landed a significant mark on the Finnish soil when it comes to trance music. Whether it's a peak-hour artist set or a solid warmup journey to acts such as Aly & Fila, John '00' Fleming, Heatbeat, Tempo Giusto and Allen & Envy, the guys have always passed with flying colours.
