Steve Helstrip, aka The Thrillseekers, has been at the forefront of the world's dance scene for well over a decade. From his first single 'Synaesthesia', through to the club anthems 'The Last Time’, 'Anywhere With You' and 'This Is All We Have’, Steve Helstrip has ben behind some of the most emotive electronic music ever released. He's worked with pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane and Ferry Corsten, and remixed for artists including Tiesto and Armin van Buuren.
Steve is as well known as a DJ as he is a producer having captivated crowds the world over with his carefully crafted sets. Creamfields, Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen and Gatecrasher have all born witness to his fluid mixing, unique style and energetic performances. In 2004 The Thrillseekers entered DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs poll, before going on to break into the top 50 (landing at no. 45) in 2006.
The Thrillseekers story started back in 1999, where, with a relatively basic home studio, Steve constructed the trance milestone that is 'Synaesthesia'. Signed and released by Neo Records in 1999 at the height of the trance explosion it has gone on to sell over 1,000,000 copies, across its numerous, repeated worldwide releases.
In late 2005 The Thrillseekers moved into compilation territory, with the release of 'NightMusic Vol 1'. The CD and 30 date world tour that followed was an instant smash, generating State-side, Russian and Asiain releases of the compiltion. Summer 2007 saw the heavily anticipated follow up hit the stores, and repeated again in 2009 with NightMusic Vol 3.
After two huge vocal single releases 'Waiting Here For You' with Aruna and 'The Last Time' with fisher, fans were pleased to see the return of Steve's remixing skills in 2009, as he completed Solarstone's stunning 'Part Of Me' and Chicane's 'Poppiholla', which spent over three weeks in the top 10 of the UK charts. However, rather than just concentrating on his productions, Steve set to the airwaves with his NightMusic Podcast and Radio Show concept, broadcasting to over 40 FM and internet radio stations and heard by over 2.5 million listeners worldwide every month.
Not resting on his laurels and with a clear objective to think outside the box, he welcomed 2010 with the first phase of his Live Xtreme show. Steve's 1 hour live performance includes his biggest club anthems remixed and replayed live on stage. It also features tracks from his other guises such as Rapid Eye, Hydra and Insigma and truly takes the live performance of Electronic Dance Music to the next level. To date Steve has showcased Live Xtreme at high profile events across the world including ETD Love (San Francisco), DancePort Festival (Taiwan), Gaudi Arena (Moscow), and twice at London’s Ministry of Sound.
In 2014 The Thrillseekers notched up 4 consecutive club anthems including ‘This Is All We Have’, which was consistently voted as one of the top trance releases of the year. Armin van Buuren described his track ‘Find You’ as ‘simply brilliant’.
Cosmo’s interest for electronic music started in the early 90’s, which led him to start his musical career in 1995. In 2000 he was made a resident DJ in the Millennium organisation which secured his position in the ranks of the top Finnish club artists.
Nowadays Cosmo is highly regarded in the Finnish club scene and has had the pleasure to play alongside the hottest DJ names to visit Finland at parties organized by Millennium and other major organisations.
Cosmo has also attracted attention around Europe after having performed in festivals like Love Parade in Berlin and Sundance Music Festival in Estonia. His own productions, tunes like “Sedna”, “Ringed World” and “Cyber Sun”, have also received support from DJs around Europe and United States.
Trance has always had a major influence on Cosmo’s style of music. Ranging from deeper, more progressive sounds to more uplifting and harder tunes, Cosmo is sure to blend the right mix for every occasion: "My goal is to constantly work on my ability to read the crowd's feelings and to give them what they want to hear."
In the future Cosmo’s aim is to extend his career abroad as well as producing new material. He is highly devoted to his home club Millennium, and he’s continuously taking part in building up the organisation’s future in Finland and internationally.
Jyri Hintikka a.k.a. Tajunta is a trance hero in the forefront of a new Scandinavian dance music wave. Having started with his new artist alias less than a year ago, Jyri is however not a newcomer to the scene! With almost 6 years of performing under his belt, among the brightest national and international stars as well being the mastermind behind the club festival, Insomnia, that is taking the nation by storm, he has become one of the most sought after young stars of the nation.
In October 2016 he released his debut single ‘Cloud 9’ that generated a great deal of positive buzz. The track made its mark in the international scene when Above & Beyond featured it in their Group Therapy radio show. Back home in Finland the first airings were made by Dj Orion in his Xmix show on Ylex and Tom Fall in his iRok radio podcast.
Things are not looking to cool down and 2017 going to be even busier year for Tajunta with new music, gigs all around the nation and even more Insomnia.
”The music of Michael Cassette reflects the elegant spirit of the distant memories and subtle sadness for the constantly vanishing times.”
Life hasn't always been easy for Michael Cassette. For personal reasons he has chosen not to be in public. After graduating from a music academy as a fully licensed violin player, it didn't take long until Michael's attention was captured by another passion, the synthesizer.
In late 2005 Michael Cassette teamed up with the producers Komytea to create some of the most inspiring and touching music for the global dancefloors, resulting in singles like Zeppelin and Shadow's Movement. Some years later, it was time for Michael Cassette to take full control of the production work.
The essence of Michael Cassette's sound lies in the combination of vintage hardware and the latest technology. The Violin, Michael's secret love, is the source for his vivid, classical sense for melodies and for his enormously wide and detailed harmonic palette.
In mid-2010 Michael Cassette finished his debut album titled "Temporarity". The album as well as all Michael's music is dedicated to the memory of his older brother David who inspired Michael with his genuine love of music.
Since the debut album of 2010, Michael Cassette has been growing the inner momentum having only occasional apperances outside his studio. There is movement in the shadows, and the signals are getting stronger each day that this momentum will be unleashed soon.
