WIBES is a newcomer on the Finnish festival scene and will take place during the midsummer weekend 20.-22.6.2014 in Mäntyharju, Southern Savo.
The festivals cornerstone is the Finnish sound system culture, therefore we have invited three heavyweight self built sound systems to play in unity in one arena. This year we're focusing especially on reggae, including all it's sub genres and bass music. In addition to the stages the festival will also feature workshops and art programs.
WIBES festival is fully committed to the concept of sustainable development and therefore we’ve taken every precaution to consider the needs of the environment and surroundings.
The Rytmi Stage will provide you with energetic live performances by some of Finland’s most prominent reggae and rhythm music artists. Surrounded by the beautiful Finnish forest it will be a place for you to fulljoy a lot of positive vibrations!
The Soundsystem Arena consists of three of Finland’s mightiest self built sound systems - Ivah, Tulitauko and Healing of the Nation. The bass heavy sound system has been the foundation of reggae music ever since the very beginning. Now you have the opportunity to experience reggae music including all its subgenres, as they are meant to be heard, on the same grounds! The sound systems will play both individually and in unity during the festival.

and one-day tickets are 30€. The prices at the gate are 65€/37.50€
