Turunen Matti
Old analogue synths and drum machines, cheesy low quality 80′s digital effects are some of the basic components for Matti’s music.
Styles from early Chicago and Detroit to sublime futuristic electronic funk, it will always be a surprise what Matti comes up with his machines.
Homegrove
Inspired by a pile of John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish and Orkidea mix cd's, Homegrove started his journey into djing in 2001. Through hard grafting, consistent networking, and spending almost every penny on music, Homegrove has developed a record collection to die for.
Labelled as one of Finland’s top class dj talents, he has charmed dancefloors across the country.
His first gigs were playing deep house at a local terrace and he still stays true to those roots, making sure that house always plays a big part of any set. Yet he is a man of many styles, going from the house to techno, and even occasionally, down tempo and indie.
Registering his name at most of Finland’s premiere club events like Screen, Fantasy, Danceteria and Jack, Homegrove has been seen playing alongside most, if not all, of the top Finnish djs and a choice selection of international talents like Danny Howells, Nick Warren and Lee Burridge.
Homegrove is a member of the X-Rust organization and a resident of Liquid Crystal Sounds club in Turku.

My first gig was 22.1.1988 in Kokemäki. Acid House and Italo Disco was the style, I played.
1989-2003 I was almost in every major party in Finland and some famous clubs all over the Europe, like The Tunnel, The Cross and Monday bar. Few years I spend some holiday and rest, but the fever of house music was too high... so I came back! Now I´m resident of a nightclub in every weekend, but love to go a round and make people happy with my music and style! I love the way that music keep us together and give us hope for better tomorrow. Peace, love and unity - that´s my slogan!
