Dreadmark brings international flavors to the City of Light -event on Saturday September 28th. The British half of the drum & bass super duo June Miller will headline the musical side of the event. Meawhile the Dutch visual artist crew WERC will take VJing to completely another level. Downstairs will be hosted by Dreadmark DJs, and the upstairs will be dedicated to the techno sounds of local crew’s Aamu and Teknoiz.

WERC will breathe new life into the Alvar Aalto designed Ilokivi complex by their signature ‘building mapping’ techniques. WERC will also create a unique light sculpture to accentuate the visuals inside the club. WERC projects tend to integrate creativity into the physical environment in a playful manner. Each situation, location and sculpture are different, so each performance is unique.
Having earned their spurs in touring with several bands, June Miller’s take on drum & bass has become open minded and ground-breaking. This has lead to Miller quickly becoming one of the biggest names in the European drum & bass scene. June Miller’s DJ sets are usually described as eclectic and ethereal, and are guaranteed to give goose bumps to even the thickest of skins.
Dreadmark is a collective of six bass music enthusiasts who in the past four years have brought a multitude of internationally acclaimed performers to their clubs.
Aamu and Teknoiz are fresh groups organizing parties in clubs and underground venues. Both crews deliver dark and hypnotic techno that will elevate clubbers to the next level. Aamu boys and girls will also take care of the visuals upstairs.
