B. Bravo LIVE
Frite Nite / Earnest Endeavours / Brownswood Recordings

B. Bravo adds a touch of love to every funked-out late night synth groove he gets his hands on. Hailing from California under the influence of west coast GFunk, Roy Ayers and Herbie Hancock, he’s pioneering a new sound in electronic music connecting interstellar funk and R’n'B with contemporary dance, hip hop and ‘bass’ music.

As a founding member of the Frite Nite label/crew based in San Francisco, he is also a driving force in the emerging worldwide Modern Funk Movement. Bravo’s massive tune ‘Computa Love’ gained international acclaim as one of London tastemaker Benji B’s ‘best of 2009′ selections for his BBC 1xtra radio program, and as the lead track and 12″ from Gilles Peterson’s 2010 Brownswood Electr*c compilation. Red Bull Music Academy hand picked Bravo as a participant to attend their coveted program in London for 2010 and continue to support him as celebrated alumni.

As a DJ and live performer, complete with synths, vocoder and talkbox, Bravo has shared the stage with artists like Chromeo, Dam-Funk, Flying Lotus and in 2011 serenaded crowds across the world with his bass heavy outerspace boogie and dirty grinding synth grooves at festivals like SXSW, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, and Sonar in Barcelona. 2011 also saw the release of Bravo’s third solo release, the highly praised Kiss ‘n’ Tell EP on the Earnest Endeavours imprint. In the works for 2012 – Mr. Bravo’s highly anticipated debut LP!!

Martin Laksberg LIVE

At the age of ten Martin started recording Gilles Peterson's Worldwide shows, broadcasted by a Finnish station Radio Mafia overseas, on cassettes. That was because of his cousin, who introduced him to this kind of music. After that he started to explore music programs and soon collecting records (4 hero, Jazzanova, Bugz, Seiji etc.). At the age of 14 Martin started playing the bass, learning disco and funk grooves by ear. A year later he also started playing the guitar and some years later he got a sampler, synthesizer and an audio interface that together gave birth to projects like Kosmofon, Doktor Normal and Lex (now renamed to Lexsoul Dancemachine). About that time Martin’s father, Ants Laig, the most idiosyncratic guitarist in Estonia, introduced him to more serious music (John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, Joe Pass), which only changed him for the better.

Sander Mölder LIVE

Seven years of cello tuition set the stage for Sander Mölder's musical exploits, granular synthesis and electro-acoustics, which include a slew of experimental projects as part of his course in electronic music. Currently working on his masters degree in composition from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, he has played in and produced for various bands and projects. Once a member of the Estonian nu-jazz group Cosmoskva, he now splits his time between current projects OYT, State of Zoe and Righteous Jazz Citizens. You can catch him playing keyboards in Leslie Da Bass live outfit, doing solo live performances with a laptop and a controller or playing one of his trademark soulful eclectic DJ-sets. Sander was recently chosen as the "one-to-watch-for-in-2012" by Estonian newspaper Eesti Ekspress and he also joined the chosen few when he got selected to participate in the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy.
