BUTCH aka Bülent Gürler bio
For over a year now Butch has held a Number 1 Position on the „Most Charted Artists“ Chart List on Resident Advisor, as well as a Top 10 position.
One of his most recent successes include receiving the „Track of the Season“ award for his track „No Worries“, which was presented to him during this year's Pacha Ibiza DJ Awards.
With the release of his second album „Eyes Wide Open“ on his newly founded label bouq – a very proud and excited Butch celebrates his independency and self-confidence.
His first album release entitled ´Papillon´ in 2008, gave the producer who originates from Mainz, the possibility to present his love and rich amount of ideas for all spectra of dance music from pumping peak-time Technovia smoothTech-House to minimalist deep sound experiments. Critically acclaimed, loved by DJs it exceeded all expectations by presenting us with a timeless club-classic for your home.
His releases such as ´Mushroom Man´ (AFU-Limited), ´Earth´ (Trapez) or ´Amelie´ (Great Stuff) can be found in the playlists of prominent names such as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Villalobos, Luciano and many others. Already his second release ´On the Line´ was so successful it got him two nominations in the categories ´Best Techno´ and ´Best Remix Techno´ for the Beatport Music Awards 2007.
At present, he ecstasizes the crowds on a regular basis with his intriguing sounds and impressive DJ skills at legendary clubs, such as Rex (Paris), Fabric (London), Cocoon (Frankfurt), Cocorico (Riccione), Flex (Vienna), or Watergate (Berlin).
