Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, Ilkka Koistinen is a pioneer in deep, dubby, bass-driven, glitched-out sound that reshapes Techno in his own image. Dropping his first release on OCR in the Fall of... 2008, he had already blazed a trail and forged his own individual sound: "Been There, Done That".
Deceptively simple at first glance, Ilkka's work stands out from the crowd. A product of a clear and uncompromising vision, a well-defined pallate of sound and mature structural development that demonstrates his patience as a producer without testing the listener's.
This is a young artist with an old soul who's creative works are built on the bedrock.
