Its definitely time for a third A GO GO night organised by the Wahoo! DJs. The previous A GO GO nites with DJs Sheila B. and Layla Lozano were such treats and now we have another great female DJ coming up: Lucinda Slim!
Lucinda Slim is a passionate 45s collector and DJ, known for spinning records at Keb Darge's legendary Deep Funk night and also Lost and Found night in Madame JoJo's in London. She plays Funk, Fifties R&B, Northern Soul, Jump Blues Boppers and Rockabilly at its best. This girl takes her music seriously and knows how to rock a crowd! Shes also famous for presenting some of her favourite tunes on This Is DJs Choice vol.2 compilation LP together with Keb Darge.
As a singer/songwriter Lucinda Slim a.k.a. Nia Saw works with Zap Mama, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, the Haggis Horns and the Lone Stars.
