What exactly is The House Special?
Step into a room with dark wooden walls and soft light coming from the chandeliers above. 'James' comes to escort you to your table. You sit down on a soft chair and take a look at the menu. Mm-hm, it's wine leaves filled with rice for starters. For the main course you decide on some soft simmered lamb. It just melts away in ones mouth.
The dessert could perhaps be the finest piece of chocolate cake.
A waiter takes the order while you further explore the surroundings.
Dj Indigo playing mellow but uplifting music on the background, warming up the chilly winter night with soothing picturesque soundscapes.
Happy people enjoying themselves in the glamorous setting. Sipping some wine you start chatting with your friends, maybe even with someone you didnt know before.
After enjoying your meal it's time for a drink or two at the bar.
Around this time dj Noste is already delivering crispy electro with spicy hot techno flavor downed with rolling breakbeat. As the lights dim the volume and intensity of the music grow little by little. The grooves make you head for the dance floor. .
When our guest for the night, Rico Tubbs, starts to pound
the floor with Jackin fidget house & wobbly bassmusic, you are trapped by the seducing rhythms and forget about the world outside.
And if that isn`t enough our own boy Mast will be playing delicious tribal beats fresh with tender and rumbling electro at the end.

The House Special is held at Restaurant Grecia, Katajanokanlaituri 5, on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
Check recent news for the next event. You can take the tram 4 from the Mannerheimintie, Lasipalatsi to Restaurant Grecia. Theres a tram stop only 200 meters away (Kauppiaankatu). Taxi centre will be informed about each event to ensure a comfortable taxi ride home.
