MADWAVE has been visiting Turku several times before, shaking the legendary Klubi with its trademark events, headlined by likes of Filterheadz, Jon O'Bir and David West. It has been a while since last one though, so MADWAVE is back in Turku for an unforgettable NYE 2010 event!
This time we have decided to bring on something special, something unusual. We had a crazy idea to connect the clubbing cultures and dance music sounds of Baltic countries at very same venue and present a line up, where your trusted MADWAVE resident rascals will take on board some A-class DJs of different genres from all other Baltics!
Now it is time for all of us dance music addicts and clubbing lovers to gather under one roof for true NYE 2010 madness and experience the atmosphere of Baltic Connection!
SERGEI SHKUROFF ( Armada, High Contrast - FIN )
- Celebrating his 10 years of DJ career in 2009, Madwave main resident Sergei Shkuroff has definately been on fire this year! Main room set for Cream at Amnesia Ibiza with Paul van Dyk, performances at Judgement Sunday in Eden Ibiza with Sander van Doorn, Monday Bar cruise with Armin van Buuren and Gallery at Ministry of Sound with Judge Jules, releases on High Contrast and Timeline Music supported by Tiesto and Rank 1 and homeland residency sets at Madwave with such as Alex Gaudino, Leeroy Thornhill from The Prodigy and Pacha Ibiza main resident Richard Grey are just an example of a stunning 12 months! This year Sergei Shkuroff played as far as Ibiza, UK, Sweden, Slovakia, Estonia and Czech Republic, and now he will headline a traditional Madwave NYE event to finish this remarkable year with a bang! Welcome to Madwave!

- Current number 1 techno DJ in Latvia and a constant member of Baltic DJ TOP 10, [Ex] Da Bass aka Mareks Dainis is a very familiar name for clubbers not just in both his home Latvia and neighbour Estonia, but also all around Europe. During his 12 year long career, [Ex] Da Bass has headlined all major clubs and festivals in Baltic countries, and toured the globe as far as Arab Emirates and Germany, where he represented Latvia at world's probably most famous event - legendary Love Parade in Berlin! Nowadays he is undisputed king of Latvian techno, host of popular weekly dance show at European Hit Radio and very demanded DJ with hectic schedule. We are very proud to welcome [Ex] Da Bass for his Madwave and Finland debute on NYE 2010, where he will perform as a part of our Baltic Connection theme!
DHAGOR ( Madwave Tallinn - EST )
- Another Madwave debutante and another part of Baltic Connection is no less than DJ Dhagor - with no doubt the most known trance DJ in Estonia and our Tallinn resident! Started to spin records in distant 1996, at the tender age of 14, Tarmo Köressaar aka Dhagor has quickly gained himself a residency in local club, almost needing a milk box to put under his feets while rocking the dancefloor. In 2003, this former teen prodigy has trasnformed into the quality trance DJ, host of the most popular underground radio show in Tallinn and a recognizable headliner known all around Estonia. Things started to develope fast forward, and by 2009 Dhagor has established himself as a leading trance DJ in Estonia, headlining all major homeland events and performing alongside likes of Airbase, Lost Witness, Driftwood, Ruben De Ronde, Mike Shiver, Joonas Hahmo and Bobina to name a few. Madwave is proud to present a comeback of Dhagor to Finland and his first ever show in Turku!

- For Madwave return to Turku, we could not to skip the local colour on the line up! This time this is a Madwave's trusted choice, tech house / minimal hero from saloUG collective - Nenna. Familiar to all Turku clubbers for years now, Nenna is known to deliver fantastic blend of trendy minimal and smooth tech house. Lately his DJ abilities have brought him to whole Finland's attention, resulting in the appearances for several A-class club brands all around the country.
