Zyntherius is an alter ego of the living legend of Finnish electronic music and DJ par excellence, Jori Hulkkonen. Together with Canadian DJ Tiga, they jump-started the electroclash craze and rocketed to the charts in 2001 with "I Wear My Sunglasses at Night". The single sold a quarter of a million copies and brought Tiga & Zyntherius along with Ed DMX to perform in UK in the Top Of The Pops TV show. After the re-release of this classic last year, a full Tiga & Zyntherius album is also rumoured to see the daylight soon.
As seen the last time in Misf*ts, Zyntherius' DJ set is an amazing mix of classics and obscure stuff from synth-pop to electro and acid to Army Of Lovers - not to be missed!!
