Vortechtral (Kai Wiggins Portsmouth - UK) has been producing and performing live electronic music from ambient to techno, through his aliases, Vortechtral, Vortechtral AM, and Benni Blanco since early 1998.
The Vortechtral sound is a big room fusion of bass line driven techno, electro and pumping house influences, combining to create a highly infectious and musical style. Releases and remixes have gone out on labels across the world, such as Audionautica, Primate / Endangered Species, Intravenous Cuts, Patterns, TechHead, Punch Funk, Dazed, Teggno, Kazoo, Prozak, Innervate, Tech Art, Kazoo, Corrupted Data, ADS, alongside his own labels, the hugely popular global Techment Records, also Techtonic and In Deep Recordings, and seen support from DJs across the global dance scene including, Cave, Olivier Giacomotto, Wehbba, Ian Void, DJ Preach, Marco G, Pedro Delgardo, DJ Muprhy, Gray, John Acquaviva, Axel Karakasis, DJ Misjah, Martyn Hare, Bryan Cox, Tom Hades, Q'Hey, Rob TS, DJ Irish, Christian Fischer, Peppelino, DJ Mika, Lukash, Reaky and many others...
The future looks very bright for this UK producer, having completed remixes for artists including Christian Fischer & DJ Murphy, Ian Void, Marco G, Axel Karakasis, Martyn Hare, Odessa Soundfreaks, Pratap, Tiago S, Jon Gurd, John Karagiannis, Fer BR, and many many more, with many tracks featured on CD and mix compilations released worldwide, an exclusive mixed compilation CD on Style, tracks and remixes on radio shows including support from Radio 1 (UK), charted in many DJ charts, and used in both the film and gaming industries, Vortechtral continues to have a constantly busy release and remix schedule ahead.
Away from the studio, his live techno and electronica Pas, and high octane funky DJ sets have given him residencies and featured bookings at numerous high profile events and venues around Europe, including: Apokalyspa Warmup, Punch Funk, Homelands, Contact, Hard Lines, Geushky, Jarred, Turnmills, Subtechment, Judgemental, Evil Monkey, Technosis, Phase 2, UYN, Prehab, and many more, booked alongside such names as Alex Patterson (The Orb), Ollie Teeba (The Herbaliser), Killians, Martyn Hare, Proteus, Lab 4, Ed Real, Joe Doe, Ian Void, Ant, Deeroy, John Warwick, Dave Robertson, Kai-1, Andi Leppard, and more. Signed on to MOSP agency in Chezch. He hosts a bi weekely show the Technologic Sessions on the Digitally Imported radio station, has featured as a guest on many other radio shows including Radio Epiloges (Greece), Techno FM, and Express FM (UK), and also studio engineers for other many artists DJs, and labels worldwide including Prozak (Canada), and Intravenous (UK), and has been known to create and perform visual and design work for clients across the globe.
Peter Forasi, better known as Peppelino in the music industry, was born in 1985 in Hungary. He got hooked on techno music in '98 and in 2005 finally got his own production going. As Peppe was spending long hours working hard in the studio, the following two years quite quickly started to bring him success. His tracks were getting released on digital labels such as Prozak Records, Techment, Egotraxx and others. In 2008 his tracks started being released in vinyl format as well on some of the biggest techno record labels including Yin Yang, Soulaccess and Penetration Nation.He has done remixes for artists as Spiros Kaloumenos, Reaky, Pratap, Darkrow, Mladen Tomic, Collins and Benham, Michal Poliak, Tiago S, Marco G.., while his tracks were also remixed by some of the top techno producers including Stephane Signore, Dejan Milicevic, Reaky and many others.In the beginning of the year he got an offer to join the MOSP booking agency and he didnt need a lot of time to think about it. He immediately grabbed the opportunity and joined the agency that cooperates with many big stars along with Lucca, Preach, Wehbba, Misa Salacova, Michal Poliak, Space Djz and many many more. Peters unique groovy and energetic sound was soon noticed by other leading DJs and his tracks are now often played by some of the biggest names in the techno industry like Cristian Varela , Stephane Signore, Dj Murphy , Dj Preach, Reaky, Wehbba and many others who like to put some drama onto the dancefloor. He got some excellent reviews of a lot of his tracks charting high up on download sales, appearing on DJ charts worldwide, played on several radio stations as much as on web casts and continuously seeing his tracks on worlds biggest DJs TOP10s. Peppelino won the Reaky Mushter remix competition on Yin Yang records and hes looking forward to future collaboration with his Slovene friend, the fast rising techno maniac Reaky. Peters career is blooming pretty fast considering hes on-scene only a couple of years. Before that he played at small local gigs and school parties. During his first year of more serious dj-ing he played in clubs in Hungary, Ukraine and Slovenia. The following year Peppe began to get booked in other countries more often, including Spain, Czech Republic and Russian Federation. He played with artists like Stephane Signore, Wehbba, Dj Preach, Michal Poliak, Reaky, Ruslan Mays, Dj Jerry and many others. This year he also played in some clubs around Hungary including M47, Juliacentrál, K2, Hell Pub, Blackman.. Hes very satisfied with the gigs he had in M47, because its the best known techno club in Hungary where a lot of international superstars often show up. He has played with most of the best Hungarian Djs such as Schmidt, Zsíros, Anton Vl, Dave, Kali, Slave, Deeroy.. The responses about his sets were always very good and he managed to impress the audience every single time. Peter got in touch with a Spanish emerging star Fer Br and they have quite an idea going on. The idea is to perform a live act with 2 laptops, controllers and effects, expecting the crowd to go absolutely wild. Peppelino has got a lot of potential and in the following years hes looking up to more and more success. The year 2009 is bringing him more gigs around the globe, more releases on labels as Patterns, Patterns Special, Yin Yang, Relatives, Emphatic, Gt Muzik, Kazoo records, Innova records, Discover Dark and eventually he hopes to start appearing on internationally known electronic music festivals. Its just a matter of time his energetic vibes start dominating the world
Aleksey start his professional career in 2004 from partys of DJ Feel (Number 1 dj in Russia 2008), playing Progressive and Uplifting Trance. For a period of one-and-a-half years he was only one trance disk-jockey who used only vinyl in his sets.
In order to preserve sincerity and cleanliness the ideas of electronic music, Aleksey move to Techno, and soon got the invitation come in the club the Tunnel, where to this days playing Funky and Groovy Techno on the Techno-partysof DJ SLON and Van Nosikov. In parallel with the playing in Tunnel, Aleksey making a lot of techno-partys in Saint-Petersburg: small weekly and weekend festivals with the invite of actual disk-jockeys from Europe.
In August 2007, Aleksey starts his radio-show NELUMBO! (in the transfer with the Lat. - Lotus) on the world famous radio station DI.FM. The majority of the stars of the world Techno-scene visited in the year of ether guests: Sound-producers, owners of labels and sound-directors. Simultaneously with the discovery of program, Aleksey begins to produce music and in december of 2007 signs the first contract with Canadian label Prozak Records for Karkas EP. Releasewas in tops of Internet- stores and Track-lists of the stars of Techno-scene, such as Wehbba, Stephane Of signore, DJ Of link, Reaky, Peppelino, Darkrow and many others, and the track Flower entered into the official compilation of the European festival Street Parade 2008.
Tens of Remixes and his tracks, which now wait for turn to the doors of their labels (Prozak, Naked Of lunch, Stream, Keep On Of techno, Sub Of cult, Penetration Nation) in order to fall to the counters of stores, and also the having extraordinary popularity program on DI.FM, all it gives to Aleksey a lot of gigs in Europe clubs and areas. The first foreign tour into Finland made his resident of the club Yo-Talo in the city Tampere. In front gigs at the festivals in Spain and sets in the clubs of England, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden. The Alexey sets are always unique, because it anytime are full of exclusive promo-tracks, selected released tracks and already forgotten hits of Tekhno-dancefloors of the past. Aleksey now the only one producer in Russia who make active promotion for Russian Techno-musicians on the world scene. The young talents of Novosibirsk, Yaroslavl', Saint Petersburg and Odessa are located under his wing.
In April 2008 Aleksey becomes the Techno-producer of the most powerfull dance radio in Russia: Radio Rrecord, and he start his promotion for Techno-culture in Russia. In July 2008 on the counters of stores will appear: a series Russia's first legal Techno-compilations RECORD TECHNO, which includes the tracks from Worldwide techno starts, such as Axel Karakasis, Ian Void and Cave, and also album of now become legendary guys from the project Odessa SoundFreaks. Soon tens of most interesting releases will be in shops.
