BUSY P

The head honcho of Ed Banger Records and the man behind the success of Justice, DJ Mehdi and Uffie, French electro DJ/producer/manager Pedro Winder is one of the most important trendsetters in today's electronic music.

Born in 1975 in Paris, he became interested in electronic dance music around 1992 and soon became involved with the city's electronic music scene. He started as Daft Punk's manager in 1996, a post he held until 2008 while also handling management duties for the likes of Cassius and DJ Mehdi. In 2003 he founded Ed Banger Records and shortly after began producing tracks of his own under the Busy P moniker. Especially since the breakthrough success of Justice in 2007, the label has kept him busy indeed. With his debut album in the works, Pedro continues to travel all around the world both with his acts and as a celebrated DJ/artist in his own right.
