A BRIEF HISTORY
After relocating to the United Kingdom a year ago Paul Bingham has already achieved more than most with Gigs at Pacha, Ministry of Sound, The Key, The Cross, and two dates confirmed this season @ Amnesia in Ibiza. Having already played in Barcelona, Helsinki and South Africa and many productions and remixes under his belt he is sure to be one of the stars to watch out for in 2009.
Pauls breakthrough came when Robbie Rivera signed and remixed Pauls debut track Buzz to Juicy Music. Since the release of Buzz it has made its way onto five well esteemed compilations including; Amnesia Live in Moscow 2007, DJ Theo NYC Mixx 2007 and Juicy Miami 2006 to name but a few.
All this success has forged ahead from his 3 year residency at ESP, one of South Africa's longest running and ritually frequented clubs. During his time Paul has travelled abroad to represent ESP at the FFWD Rotterdam Street Parade which boasts an impressive capacity of half a million. With regular bookings for crowds in excess of 7000 he was classed as one of the establishment's top DJ's leading to him being asked to mix one of their ESP Residents Series compilations.
The effectual qualities of Buzz saw Sander Kleinenberg play it at Sensation White in 2006, Cedric Gervais play it at Club Space in Miami and Erik Morillo list it in his top 10 charts which featured in Mixmag. Capturing more interest from the media was Robbie Riveras mix of this track with a review in IDJ quoting Buzz as another quality release from a label you either love or hate. And we love. Pauls long and opulent collaboration with Juicy Music has put him on the international map with more of his tracks such as, Extra Sensory Perception, and Sounds Like Acid being remixed by major league artists including: Armand Pena, Tony Arzadon, DJ Inphinity and Willie Morales; and Extra Sensory Perception being released on 3 complications and Sounds Like Acid being released on Amnesia Ibiza 2006.
As a dj, Paul has had just as much success as he has been featured on the same bill as Brian Cross, Sebastien Leger, Steve Angello, Sebastien Ingrosso, 2PhunkedUP, Peter Gelderblom, Rene Amesz and Jaimie Fanatic.
In addition Paul has just been signed to international DJ Agency Black Spider Agency which handles bookings for Superstars like Armin Van Buuren, Robbie Rivera, Marco V, Antoine Clamaran and Benny Benassi
Paul's immense experience and passion for all things music instantly fills any room with an electric groove of bliss. His many hours spent both behind the decks and in the studio have formulated a technically correct, crowd pleasing musician able to provide them with an experience they will remember. With his mainstream electro/dirty/sexy/tech house sounds Paul Bingham adulates his crowds with his music certainly making him a highly marketable DJ and Producer.
