Turbo marks its 10 years anniversary in 2008, celebrating a decade of pioneering techno with a global campaign starting in North American following through to Japan, Korea, China, Australia and Europe.
An upcoming retrospective double CD, The re-release of Tiga-Zyntherius uber-hit Sunglasses at night, and a new LP by the Russian rave czar Proxy are just a few of the highlights in what is sure to be the biggest year in Turbo history.
From the ashes of the soviet empire, from the flames of history, rises THE PROXY. Post 9/11 rave vibes cloaked in Muscovite angst. His first single Destroy was a crossover hit, supported by everyone from Errol Alkan, Soulwax, and Breaks DJs to Justice & the Ed Banger crew, and his follow up Decoy has been called THE post-new-rave anthem. 2008 will be the real breakout for the secretive Russian, as he will release his debut LP on Turbo and spark a revolution by bringing his live show to the people.
