FABIO VARGAS (ITALY)
Without a doubt one of the most experienced DJ in activity, 30 years in the business. He started with the radiostation at the age 14th. He grow up listening funky and disco.
In the middle of the 80s he brought the first newbeat records to Greece where hes been working for several years: Naxos (Ocean Club) from year 85 to 89 and Mykonos (Le Cinema) in 1990 summertime.
He started to work in Canarys Islands wintertimes (Tenerife) where he became pioneer as he was one of the first deejays to play housemusic.
Back to Italy for three years 95-97 he shared the DJ booth with DJs as Francesco Farfa, Francesco Zappala, Gabry Fasano, etc. At 88 he returned to Tenerife where he opened his own little club called La Divina Comedia which soon became a reference for the clubbers of the Island. Soon he stopped gigging around to play at his own club. The venue closed in 2004 and he got back DJing properly.
Nowadays he is resident in Itaca (San Antonio and Ibiza) and on Saturdays he plays at Penetra-Ibiza party that recently moved from El Divino to Heaven. His sessions are always different mainly electronic but not only. His motto is: make them DANCE!!!
