DJ DEL:
You can either play around, play with yourself or you can PLAY RECORDS. DJ Del is definitely a man who does the latter. Since starting to dj and promote parties back in '99, he's managed to do a lot and is a key figure in the Helsinki club scene. And not only because of his charms.
Currently Del is running his own succesful clubnight, called DRUMZ, and has a radio show under the same name at the best radiostation in Finland, Basso Radio 102, 8 Mhz. As both are great places to educate the people, Del belongs to the old school with his way of thinking towards a dj set. It's not always just about playing the latest bangers you anyhow hear everywhere, but also to play somewhat more interesting tunes, as long as mixes are tight and the timing is right. And with Del they are. His mixes are fast and well executed, and his style goes from almost from one extreme to the other, showing the whole spectrum of jungle.
People around Del sure know what's up, as he's been a man in demand since the beginning of his career and has deejayed around Europe and the Baltic countries and Scandinavia. And so does the crowd. Del reminds that it's all about satisfying the public and making ladies go crazy, it's not about showing off to your friends with you latest dubs or any of that...
