On November 4th 2006 the Liquid Crystal Sounds club concept was launched. Its primary goal was to create an alternative underground experience. Something different. Something fresh! One year later LCS has risen from strength to strength and established its roots firmly within the Finnish clubbing scene.
To celebrate our first year of underground events, LCS proudly invites you all to our 6th clubbing instalment: "Foundations". Legendary Dutch DJ/Producer OHMNA (aka: Johan Cyber) will be jetting over to take you all on a hypnotic dance floor journey. Northern Irish DJ Ric James will also join the line-up alongside LCS residents: Mark Kinnier, Ali King and DJ Progression.
Expect 8 hours of musical magic as we cut no corners and promise to unleash a monumental 1st Birthday celebration. Buckle up and see you all on November 16th

"OHMNA", aka: Johan Cyber is one of the most prolific Dutch DJ/Producers. As DJ Tiësto recently stated himself: Johan Cyber is one of the house godfathers. With a DJing career kicking off in 1988, Johan has become a highly respected DJ recognized worldwide. Johan has travelled the continents and played at some of the most prestigous clubs and festivals such as:
Space (Ibiza), Love Parade (Berlin), Dancevalley (Netherlands), Nicky Beach (Miami), Haoman 17 (Israel), Velvet (London) and the Street Parade (Zurich) to name a few.
In 1994 Johan founded Cyber Records. Over the past 13 years the record label has released countless singles from top producers: Armin van Buuren, 16 Bit Lolitas, Airwave, Nugen, Jaydee and Johan himself. Since producing under the name Ohmna, Johan has had his tracks feature on some of the most renowned worldwide DJ compilations:

This is one of those completely addictive and unique vocal tracks with an extremely relentless and dance floor filling bassline! Excellent release from Cyber Records and an amazing production by Ohmna. I've been supporting it in my radio show and recommend it as one of the tunes to look out for this summer! -(Matt Darey)-

"Ric James entered the world of DJing over 11 years ago and has certainly made a name for himself within the Northern Irish clubbing scene. Now 29yrs old, Ric has regularly spun at legendary clubs such as Thompson's, The Stiff Kitten, Front Page, Potthouse, La Lea, Skye, Barretro and Rise!! Ric has warmed up for turntable talents such as the Japanese Popstars and has played alongside Chris Cargo and Jay Kay (best Northern Irish DJ 2007).
In 2006 Ric entered the Northern Irish leg of the Movida Corona DJ competition and successfully took 1st place! November 2006 saw Ric travel to Luzerne, Switzerland, where he took place in the Movida Corona World Final DJ competition. Rics turntable talents pushed him through the qualifying stages and landed him more than respectable 7th place!
With influences from Carl Cox, Sasha, Digweed, Mr.C, Funk DVoid to name a few, Rics style can merge anything from progressive, deep, funky, house; to electro, techno and a touch of breakbeat. A DJ who can rapidly change the energy of any dancefloor!"

Born in London, Progression's connectivity with electronic music began in the late 80's. In 1994, at just 14yrs old, his DJ career kicked off with the purchase of turntables! He became the instigator of organising illegal parties for many years until in 1998 the big break came. Progression launched two club nights in West London. He became a 5-year resident Hauling in the droves and played alongside DJ legends such as Tall Paul, Scott Bond, Jean-Jaques Smoothie and Timmy Deluxe. A move to Finland came in 2003 with his DJ career continuing in cities such as Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. Now 26 yrs old, Progression co-runs his own underground club night 'Liquid Crystal Sounds' where he plays alongside some of finest UK and Finnish DJs. His sets consisting of Trance, Electro and Uplifting Progressive, with his musicizm concentrating on driving basslines and deeper expressive atmospheric breakdowns. One DJ who never goes unnoticed!

"Alistairs (aka Ali Catin) early musical experiences were tied with instruments such as the Trumpet, Classical Guitar & Piano. During the late 90's Ali threw his rhythmic talents into DJing. As Belfasts clubbing scene expanded, Ali found himself playing with both local and international DJ talents including Mark Kinnier (Futura), Gareth Hogan/Terry Keely (http://www.shine.net) and Marc Kirkbride (Protocol, Perpetual). Now Spinning in Finland, Ali has made his mark! DJs like Sasha F, Alex Kunnari, D.N.A., Steven Hoaks, Oxid and Nemes have all played with this Belfast talent.
