Luminescent aka Miika Luolajan-Mikkola started composing electronic music almost a decade ago, his devotion to electronic music can be heard in all his songs. This same devotion gives his tunes a feeling like his life mission would be only to compose and create fresh and unique tracks.
Luminescent mainly focuses on melodic, progressive trance with an driving energy which draws influences from psy- and goatrance. He also experiments with triphop, psymbient, downtempo, d'nb, techno etc...
His musical background lies in the studies of classical piano, which he has played since he learned to walk, this has made him a virtuoso on every instrument that has an keyboard on it. He has also a long history of playing electric guitars through his post as leadguitar in the band 'Nocturnal Winds'.
