STANDARD brings you versatile drum and bass sounds with special, carefully selected guest artists. This time we celebrate in association with Hospital records their recently released Weapons Of Mass Creation 3! Main artist for the night is the man who is a legend in his lifetime: Chris from BLU MAR TEN !!! His dj sets have been praised a lot and this will be no exception. Blu Mar Tens track Starting over was featured in WOMC 3 collection as well as L.A.O.S´s track Panda Style.

Blu Mar Ten is made up of founding members Leo Wyndham and Chris Marigold, with new addition Michael Tognarelli.
2006 & 2007 are busy years for Blu Mar Ten. A return to their drum & bass roots sees a string of 12" smashers hitting the drum & bass scene on labels as diverse as Hospital Records, 'Nookie's Phuzion Records, Friction's Shogun Audio and Doc Scott's legendary '31 Records', with Dj support across the scene to match. Amongst these tunes is the now mythical 'Shadowboxing Remix'. Originally made as a one-off just to DJ out, the hype surrounding this rework of Doc Scott's classic has created a splash in the D&B community with a previously unexpected release now out on the loose.
2007 sees the arrival of the eagerly anticipated new album 'Black Water' which retains the lushness of previous work while adopting a much more direct approach in it's sound.

Dj Poisons taste of music had been forming long before he began his career as a dj. Due to the fact that Poison was living in Germany for a long time he absorbed different foreign music, showing preference for hip-hop. At the beginning of 90s there was a boom of electronic music in Poisons head. Break Beat initiated love to broken rhythms. In the middle of 90s he began to play jungle and dnb. Later he met a promoter and a dj named Boomer (DA BASS) with whom he began to cooperate. As a result Poison became a resident of DA BASS.
