In the year 1996 Rob Aker aka Jose Amnesia bought his first synthesizer, a cheap Atari and started to compose electronic Music. Very soon he gave birth to some memorable tunes; "Last sunset in Ibiza" was an essential new tune on Judge Jules BBC Radio Show, followed by the epic "The Eternal" which soon became a classic trance track gaining support from all the top dj's such as Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Buuren. Rob released Jamnesia - "She's my friend / Get Busy" on Platipus. 3 of His tracks also appeared on the Gatecrasher "Digital Trance".
Rob started collaborations with Stuart Matheson from Binary Finary in the project called Cloudbreak, and with NuNRG in the project NuNRG vs Rob Aker. In 2006 Jose was behind the project Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms, one of the most successful and remixed progressive tracks of the year.
After that his talent scout and friend Arturo Bonetti got him in contact with the newcomer talented singer Jennifer Rene and "Louder" was born. The tune was immediately licensed to Armada and massively supported by Armin. The Louder follow up Wouldn't change a thing will be released on Armind this year.
Ronald van Gelderen's musical career steers way back to his childhood and in 1997 he started making music full time. In 1998 he released his first track,
"My X-perience" under the alias Formologic (Label: Flammable Records). His next follow up was "Sweet Substance" under the alias N-Fluence and he was quickly signed up by Paul Oakenfold´s label Perfecto. Plunging into producing full-time in 1999, RvG has proven to be the master of his unique "slightly tough" sound with strong melody structures and a cutting edge. RvG signed up at the label "TSUNAMI" and released some famous hits in the dance scene. RvG not only produced his own tracks, he also produced together with DJ Tiësto the tracks "Urban Train" and "Suburban Train" which entered the UK single chart at #22.
During 2006 RvG's radio show R.A.W. had lift off on the world wide web. You can tune in every Thursday between 5pm and 6pm (CET) on Afterhours FM www.ah.fm and every Saturday between 6pm and 7pm on ETN FM www.etn.fm .
RvG's show has changed from the plain Dj:ing into a Devilish Rock and Roll performer on stage. His rough, dark appearance in combination with the new sound he brings today, this guy is no longer just a DJ / Producer but an all-round performer.
With his latest single "REALIZE", Co-produced by Benno de Goeij (from Rank 1), RvG delivers again a full fire hot as hell tech driven monster with boy R.A.W. himself providing the vocals. Thick beats rolling bass lines is the best way to describe the energetic original version. Adding a perfect sounding vocal for the finishing touch and here you have yourself a rock-your-tits-off monster. The 'Stripped Down mix', is for the ones who like it a bit more house driven! But , don't fool yourself as this little gem has more energy to unleash than you think. The record has already got massive support as Ferry Corsten featured the record on his recent Essential Mix, Armin van Buuren gave it several plays on his radio show and Marco V included it on his Combi:nations 2 album.
