Hannulelauri is Hannu Nieminen a.k.a. Ender and Lauri Soini, two
Helsinki-based djs, who`s co-operation took off with a remix job
originally meant for Nuspirit Helsinki which they couldnt finish
properly.
It seemed that we always would end up doing something completely
different: much dub influenced techno or deep house beats.
A turning point for us was our live session in June 2006 in Koneisto
Festival, where I (Lauri) had been originally signed to perform solo.
Somehow I suggested that we should perform our unfinished tracks in few
weeks to live audience, which turned out to be just what we needed, a
hurried deadline
During the summer 2006 they managed to perform live in three main
electronic music festivals arranged in Finland: Koneisto, UMF and Flow
Festival (along with artists such as Moodymann, UR, Aril Brikha,
Lindström & Prins Thomas, Âme and Legowelt).
At the moment DJ Ender and Lauri Soini are also working on various other
projects including some disco edits and remixes. First hannulelauri
releases can be expected to see daylight in the near future.
