COYOTE (Is it Balearic? / Nottingham) 16.4.2011 @ Helsinki

We are very pleased to announce that Coyote is visiting Nolla this Saturday. Coyote consists of "Ampo" and Timm. The guys were allready authorities during the rave era in UK and over the years their sound has evolved more to the balearic side. This is an unique opportunity to listen to the mighty Coyote's ecletic sound that ranges all the way from the 60's folk via the roots of disco,house, rave and techno to the balearic pop sound of today. So expect the best music from the last 40 years.

Ampo and Timm runs the label Is it Balearic? with over 10 releases behind them, from Coyote, Midlake, Max Essa, Social Disco Club, Tiago etc. And remix work from Aeroplane, Lovefingers and Soft Rocks to name a few.

This time we also have a special debut DJ set from Aihki which consists of Magnus Blomkvist and Tuomas Soppela. Aihki has some upcoming stuff on Is it Balearic?

Coyote visits Nolla on Saturday and therefore we decided to do a Coyote and their label Is It Balearic...? special on Friday. Their label has given us artists like Coyote, Aeroplane and Midlake and we have a lot of upcoming material from their label. Including previews of Coyote's second album, new Prins Thomas remixes and so on.

- Ampo was named London's best upcoming techno DJ in Melody Maker 1994
- Over 10 releases so far with their Coyote project
