Having Lovefingers visiting us is something very special, we have been trying to book Andrew for about a year and finally managed. We consider him to be one of the most influential contemporary disco DJ's and crate diggers. Andrew Hogge aka Lovefingers has been through numerous releases and his frequent blogging played a significant part in creating the eclectic contemporary disco sound. He has had a major influence in taking th...e rock, kraut, country, weirdy beardy etc. on the disco map. In general, most disco DJ's owe Andrew a lot for his zillion hours of relentless crate digging in dusty basements all over the world.

In addition to record digging Andrew is running the ESP Institute and Black Disco label, having the Stallions project together with Lee Douglas and lots more.

In the Lovefingers blog days, cratedigging obviously must have been essential. How about today? Do you still get your hands dirty at flea markets and second hand shops?

– I try to get into the record shops as much as possible! I've had to slow down a bit unfortunately once I had a child, but it's just a minor setback.
