Keramick & Lobo is a project by two long time friends and emerging electronic music producers Jussi Mikkonen and Visa Mäkinen. The music of the duo can be described as melodic and electro-acoustic. As their sound borrows a lot from electronic music styles such as idm, downtempo, ambient and glitch, it also compiles the characteristics of acoustic music like jazz, dub, pop and even a bit of rock.
The duo also forms an improvisational collective KLAH with trumpetist Aki Himanen and is based on improvising electronic music. Aki has often been a part of Keramick & Lobo's live act and they have been known to perform improvised pieces as a part of the concert.
