Righty, after 7 years and 7 mixes I've finally released my labour of love.
Its a collection of re-edited classics and hard to find electronic music gems from the past couple of decades, in the vein of Northern Exposure.
The sounds are atmospheric and haunting, or deep and ferocious.
A seven mix concept inspired by the Egyptian Book Of The Dead, meant as a collective theme (you don't have to take it seriously!), thats kind of like a mystical soundtrack featuring sounds influenced by all things ancient, mysterious and sci-fi.
Based upon the unique and timeless sounds of producers such as Future Sound Of London, Banco De Gaia, The Orb and Aphex Twin, the seven mixes break down into sonic chapters that try and capture those strange and haunting experiences you might have had at some time.
Since May 2001 the mixes have been arranged by a combination of turntables and digital sequencing, bringing together many elements that wouldn't have otherwise been able to be mixed.
