SAM LEMON

Endless nights for hours and hours at front of the mixing desk adjusting and adjusting. Not satisfied until the mix sounds acceptable. A man, who has the ability to create new ideas, who's music making is definitely not copying all ideas from others. So, Who is he?

Sam Lemon is a 24-year-old progressive house music artist/producer from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. His style is a mixture of driving progressive beats, smooth athmospheres and catchy synths. Someone could say the style is between progressive house and trance. Sometimes his music has a little tech, even psychedelic or electro flavour added.

Sam's history in music is quite varied. When he was young, he played violin for several years and also took some keyboard lessons. At the age of 13 he first found that playing with some computer trackers and other music software was fun and interesting. Listening to the those german hc tracks which friends made was also fun. Those times coding pc demos took all the time and music making got to step aside.

But the bug bitted Sam again on the late nineties. That time at least thousand times harder. Soon he had a collection of synths and gadgets. Hunger to develop as an artist and a producer grew and grew. For today the situation hasn't changed any.

"I like all kinds of music. Especially well produced electronic music gets the most respect from me. Beautiful symphonic music, massive movie soundtracks and ambient are also close to my heart. You can hear the sound of work. You have to give all your best for what you are doing, that's how it goes.", Sam says.

Sam Lemon's debut single 'Solaris' has gained really good feedback from DJs, listeners and producers all over the world. Now it is signed to Italian progressive house label 'Screen Recordings'. --(So, don't be late to get your copy, before it's too late.)
