CASIONOVA: CASIONOVA
The fifth Metrotraks release is pure pop-electro-nica with surefire Casio sounds from the Australian phenomenon Casionova. The story started when Tim Bray fell in love with the cheap vintage home synthesizers by Casio Corp. and started composing music using the name Casionova.
Described as the ultimate in geek chic, Casionova straps on 80's home electronics, such as Casio keyboards and the Commodore64 computer, and, well, erm, rocks out. Casionova's music is 63% cool and 100% live - with no backing tape it's pure cheesecore.
