B I O G R A P H Y
At the age of 16 Mikko Niittymäki aka Flaikku attended his first techno-oriented event and
his first touch with turntables was in summer 2000. He's been spinning active since the
spring of 2003 after he got his first own turntables.
He describes his trancy style with three words : uplifting, melodic & bumping and the artists
that most influence him are the likes of Matt Darey, Steve Helstrip,Armin van Buuren, Lange,
Andy Perring & Mirco de Govia just to new a few.
In March 2004 Flaikku's dream came true when he was invited to join the Millennium Dj-team
after his first official club gig. Millennium is known as one of the most respected organizers
in Finland. Before that Flaikku has been playing on smaller events & underground parties with
many of Finlands biggest Djs like Proteus, Phaze, Cosmo, Maniac, Luka and Neon.
His future seems bright and his next target is to play as many gigs as possible and maybe someday
to get some some gigs abroad
