Dj Ville E (Ville Eloranta, 25yrs) is an underground house dj from Helsinki, Finland. Althought he has been djing for only just a few years, he has played in most of the major Finnish clubbing cities (Helsinki, Turku, Tampere), and in Tallinn, Estonia. Ville has also given airtime in Radio Helsinki FM radio, as well as Proton Radio (USA) and Energy FM Radio (Estonia). In quite little time, Ville has gained reputation of being one of the most interesting rising house & progressive jocks in Finland.
Ville's main styles are melodic & groovy progressive house and soulful & funky deep and tech house. However, he likes to spice his sets with some tribal, breakbeat and electroish sounds. As a matter of fact, the genre is not the even the thing that counts, but the mood and feeling of the track. If the song has strong bassline, beautiful backgrounds, cathy melody, stylish vocals and forward going feeling, it definitely belongs to ville's record box.
Ville has a very hype free attitude when it comes to djing. Instead of desperately running after the latest promos and following latest trends, Ville builds the plots of his sets based on the the releases he personally likes the best. May they be new or old, or well or not so well known, the only thing that matters is that the track sounds good!
In addition to djing, Ville also heads Slipstream Radio which is a house music Internet Radio, dedicated to upcoming Finnish house djs. Ville also occasionally promotes small club nights, and runs some electronic music oriented audio visual and interactive projects.
