Plays anything from near chill-out to rave classics depending on the time of the night and the crowd. Main focus is usually on more progressive trance and house, with a strong selection of classics from the last ten years or so. "There are lots more excellent tracks in the last 10 years than in the last two months which soon get overplayed anyway". Favorite 'last set highlights' include Man With No Name, Prodigy, Misjah and Deepsky to name a few.
Started djing back 1997 under the name pHaze, but his musical taste has since outgrown the rather limited reputation of pHaze as a melodic trance dj. Melodic trance is still often a part of his sets, but only when the situation calls for it. Past residencies include Vertigo and Devotion and he has guest starred in clubs like Hallmark, Illusions, Pussy and Millennium.
The usual 'classic tracks' you can expect to hear include tracks and remixes by the likes of BT, Tilt, Deepsky, Brothers In Rhythm, Breeder, Paul Van Dyk, Quivver, Joshua Ryan, Sasha, Way Out West and Hybrid. All time favorite artists include all of the above and more diverse producers such as Misjah, Hardfloor, Members Of Mayday, Kristine W, Perplexer and RMB.
Was an integral part of promoting Devotion and Vertigo, and has been active in organizing illegal allnite raves such as Liquid Skies and Vertigo UG. Has also been involved in a number of smaller parties too numerous to mention.
