SOPHIE SUGAR
Talented 25 year old DJ/producer, Sophie Sugar, is one of the most exciting new DJs breaking through onto the trance scene at the moment. Sophie's style can be summed up in three words 'pure uplifting trance'. Her passion for both the music and mixing it is clear to every crowd and her uplifting sets are fast building her a reputation as one of the UK's serious up and coming DJs within this scene.
Sophie has been DJing for 6 years and has played for many events in the UK and in Europe including 4 successful seasons in Ibiza and nights such as Passion, Charlys Angelz, The Gallery at Turnmills, Serious at the Cross, the Dance Academy, The Coach in Northern Ireland and Peach at Eden in Ibiza.
Sophie is also an experienced presenter. She has presented her own radio show as well as many Television programmes including 'Ibiza As it Happens 2003' for Rapture TV, which was a 4 part series shown on Sky TV. She has since presented further programmes and aims to continue to tie this in with her DJing career in the future.
Sophie has also enjoyed making her own tracks and developing her own sound over the last few years. Her latest track - 'Call of Tomorrow' is out now on 'Galactive Records' and is getting a played by top DJs around the globe including Paul Van Dyke and Armin Van Buuren! The future is looking very bright indeed for this talented artist.
