INFO ABOUT CHORALE:
Chorale is a eurodance band from Finland. Main styles are fast eurodance and eurotrance. There are two persons behind the production, Tero Laihanen and Markus Ahola, and a singer called Lydia.
A little piece of history
Tero & Markus come from Toijala, Finland. Band was founded at spring 2000. Our first singer was Maija-Helena Meskanen (Maikku) in 2000, but she performed only one tune (Huominen). In 2001 came Hanna-Leena Saarinen (Hansku), who sang our few next eurodance tunes. In fall 2001 a girl from Tampere found us, and offered one of her tunes for us to remix. So we did, and Lydia found her way to Chorale and Rakkauden Maa was done :)
Chorale signed to Scandinavian A1 Music at winter 2003.
Our first commercial single Univiidakko was released 10.5.2004 through A1 Music / Edel.

BIOGRAPHY:
Tero Laihanen
Born in february, year 1981. No musical background/education. High school graduated in 2000. Started electronic musicmaking in 1995 with Scream tracker. Soon changed to Fast tracker. First it was all about hardcore. Then something changed, and all he composed was chip music (c64 style). Around the year 97 the world of midi seduced him. He bought his first synthesizer. A point of no return. Tero became a gear-a-holic.
Nowadays hardhouse and progressive club music is very near to his heart alongside with melodic trance and eurodance. Raves, Clubs and parties are a part of him. I am waiting... he says when asked about future plans...
Markus Ahola
Born in January, year 1980. No musical education. Played guitar and drums in a band for several years. Somewhere around 97 he was introduced with trackers and started his own dance projects. A year later, with advices from Tero, Markus started to buy gear. He became obsessed with the sound so pure and analogue.
At the moment Markus is studying to be a personal trainer at Vierumäki physical training college.
Lydia Luoma-aho
Born in December, year 1977. High school graduated 1997 from Kaustinen Music High School (main subject classical singing). Graduated from Tampere Polytechnic School of Art and Media (main subjects web media and marketing). Studied also tv- and video production at Pirkanmaa Polytechnic. Started to play piano, singing and composing music when she was a little girl. At early 1990 she got her first computer, Amiga500, and started to compose dance music with it.
Nowadays she is cooperating with Chorale and doing her own project La Masina.
Hanna-Leena Saarinen
Born in March, year 1983. She started playing the piano at the age of 7 and graduated from music school in the Music Institute of Valkeaskoski in 1999. At the moment she´s studying singing in the same institute. High school graduated in 2002, spent the autumn 2002 in Ireland and after returning she continued working with Chorale.
INFO ABOUT DJ KAIPPA AKA MIXMASTER K FROM 3RD NATION:
Kaippa won producer of the year EMMA-award in 1995. Kaippa has produced several popular bands in Finland, his biggest achievement is 8th place in English Billboard Dancelist with 3rd Nation - I Believe. 3rd Nation consisted of Kaippa, James Black and Charles Salter aka Max C.
The trio consisting of Kaippa, Jokke and Jay Mellin practically brought house music to Finland. He will play two sets in Oulu, first set downstairs and second on upstairs. Surely enjoyable sets! Mixing-quality is guaranteed by his good final positions in DMC (DiscoMixClub) World Mixing Championships since mid-80s.

Kaippa was Pertti Salovaara´s legendary Härdelli-show DJ and producer, he has also produced all Härdelli-productions. Kaippa was also the father of Finnish first mixingprogram Dancebeat (one hour of mixed dancemusic and beats). The program was played at Radio City and Radio Ykkönen and some other channels too.
Kaippa is surely one of the most legendary artists/producers/DJs in Finland, so you shouldn´t miss this man´s visit to Oulu!
Viime vuoden yksi Pohjois-Suomen suosituimmista tapahtumista saa jatkoa tänäkin vuonna. Tapahtuma järjestetään 15.10.2004 Oulun Radisson Sassin klubissa Nightissa. Tapahtumassa on kaksi puolta, yläkerrassa keskitytään 90-luvun populaariin tanssimusiikkiin ja alakerrassa 90-luvun populaariin konemusiikkiin. Konsepti on täysin sama kuin erittäin menestyksekkäissä Back To The 90s bileissä viime kesänä...
