A quarter of a century of artistry demands a big celebration. And a celebration we shall have! DJ Orkidea’s passion and pulse for the world of electronic music has never stopped beating and it keeps on getting stronger… Since his early days of organizing underground parties, to becoming one of the most loved and respected DJ's & producers to come out of Finland.
The Orkidea 25 tour began at the magical Classical Trancelations concerts and will have extravagant finale in Finland’s biggest ever club cruise - 25 Years of Dance. In between Orkidea will dish out exclusive classics sets in some of his home countries most respected clubs and international gigs from Ibiza to Amsterdam and beyond… He will be joined by local legends that have and still are enriching the scene with their true passion for dance music.
1991 - First DJ gigs
1992 - Doing illegal Oranssi night raves
1993 - Organizing afterhours at Lepakko
1994 - Opening for Sven Väth in Helsinki
1995 - First international gig at Tresor in Berlin
1996 - Club Unity is born at Nylon
1997 - Radio Unity begins
1998 - Promoting Renaissance events in Helsinki
1999 - First single 'Unity' on Steelfish UK
2000 - Remixing Tiesto's Flight 643
2001 - First gigs in Ibiza, Toronto and Tokyo
2002 - 16 hour set at Kerma
2003 - Debut album Taika on Universal Music
2004 - The first Pacifique party in Serena
2005 - A Place Called Happiness mix CD
2006 - YearZero single with Andy Moor
2007 - Unity The Island parties at Uunisaari
2008 - Metaverse album
