The brand has risen from strength to strength and has firmly carved itself into a trademark nighterie respected by clubbers.

For LCS’s summer instalment of 2012, we’ll be rounding off the season with a special 'IBIZA CLOSING' event held on ‘FRIDAY 31st AUGUST'. Expect to be transported back to the late 90's and early 2000's where all three DJ's will be playing sun soaked balearic classics that have certainly stood the test of time.

We invite DJ 'RIC JAMES', from Northern Ireland's capital Belfast. This old skool talent has been DJ’ing for well over 17 years across the United Kingdom and drawing in the crowds with his legendary '3-DECK SETS!'. With influences from the likes of Carl Cox, Sasha, Digweed, Mr.C & Funk D’'Void, Ric’'s style can merge anything from progressive, deep, and funky house to electro, techno and a touch of breakbeat. Fasten your seatbelts as Ric plans to make a true imprint on the Turku crowd as he hammers out a whole load of vinyl spanning from the mid 90's to the early noughties !! This is LCS and this is our IBIZA CLOSING party!"

Ladies & Gents,

We had an absolutely sensational Liquid Crystal Sounds "iBiZA CLOSiNG" event at Turku's Klubi last Friday 31.08.2012. What a way to end this Finnish summer with a bang! Thank you all so much for turning up in force and partying until the very end! Similar to our event held back in April this year, it was such a pleasure to see people arriving so early (22.00) and coming to savour CHANTOLA'S set. This rising Finnish talent took us all on a beautiful Balearic trip playing some rolling anthems injected with some uplifting chunky piano lines!

Next up was PROGRESSION who kept the Balearic theme going strong. With a rise in tempo it was this DJ who bridged the gap between the more Housier bpm's of Chantola and the more Trancier beats that Ric James was to play. Once again, some huge piano breakdowns laced with atmospheric strings and a few classics that kept the dance floor firmly in the Ibiza mood and paved the way for the final 2hrs.

Our imported DJ - RIC JAMES took over the turntables at 01.30am. Having had experience at Café Mambo in IBIZA, this Northern Irish native certainly knew how to do his job. 120 minutes of Ibiza classics spanning from the more progressive sounds to the late 90's trance anthems that had placed the White Isle firmly back on the map as the party capital of Europe! From Billy Hendrix's "Bodyshine" to Brainchild's "Symmetry C" (Lange Breakbeat Remix)... The crowd was taken on a journey back in time to a sound that still sounds as fresh as it did back then.

A HUGE thanks to each and every person who have supported LCS along the years. Without you lot, we wouldn't be here still. Finally, a further thanks goes to all the LCS crew and additional people who have helped with the promotion, setup, and execution of this 'iBiZA CLOSiNG' event.
