Sebastian Krieg is half of the production duo Shik Stylko and started Djing in 1990.
Sebastian`s characteristic style of house - tribal and electro sound with funky roots
turned M1 Club into one of the most respected house clubs in Germany were he was
resident Dj for nearly 9 years. Sebastian`s sense for mass moving sound substantiated
the universal recognition of the top house DJ's and lead to joint club sessions with
Masters at Work, DJ Pierre, Roger Sanchez, Tiefschwarz, DJ Sneak, Dimitri from Paris,
Eric Morillo, Ian Pooley, Derrick May, Erik Rug and many more.
He is a well known and respected DJ travelling around the world for gigs in most
respected locations like In Space/Privilege/Amnesia (Resident DJ for 4 years) (Ibiza), Kee
Club (Hong/Kong), Minx/Attica (Shanghai), Sax Club (Dubai), Frantic (Krakau), Dusted
(Middlesbrough), 8 Seasons/P1 (Resident 1 year)/Prinzip (Munich), Kaufleuten (Zurich),
Mecca (Prague), Barokko (Budapest), Jet Set (Moscow), The Applefunk Session
(Alicante), Stalker/Zebra, (Amsterdam), Blue (Miami), Tiefenrausch (Köln) and many
more.
In January 2002, Sebastian realised his plan to further combine passion and profession.
He founded the label Realbasic Recordings located in Munich, Germany.
Already Realbasic Recording's second release was a huge success. Featuring the house
legend Tyree Cooper Sebastian released under he ́s production name Shik Stylko
Groove you out tonight, in 2002. The track reached a top number 8 position in the
Mixmag-Hype Charts in England. Remixed by Grant Nelson & Brian Tappert it was again
well received in the record stores. Groove you out tonight became a real underground
club anthem played by the Top DJ's around the world and was licened on compilations on
Defected, Azuli, Ministry of Sound or Playstation!
Sebastian released over 70 records and remixes on labels like East West, Soulcamp, Roi,
Soulfuric, Azuli, Refunkt, Strictly Rhythm, Raisani Rec, Applefunk, Diva Records, Zyx,
Brickhouse, WEA, Caus`n`ff`ct, Freerange Records, Peppermint Jam, M1 Records.
He remixed Future Funk, Doobie Brothers, J.C.A., Dannii Minoque, Soul Avengerz, Mateo
& Matos, Hardsoul, Chicken Lips, Todd Terry or Full Intension.
With the regular appearance in the top ten donwload charts on download stores like
Traxsource or Beatport shows that Sebastian/Shik Stylko has supporters throughout the
house community and is a consistently hot property around the globe!
